You're Still The One
(singer?)

(When I first saw you, I saw love.
And the first time you touched me, I felt love.
And after
all this time, you're still the one I love.)
Looks like we made it
Look how far we've come my baby
We mighta took the long way
We knew we'd get there someday
They said, "I bet they'll never make it"
But just look at us holding on
We're still together still going strong
(You're still the one)
You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life
(You're still the one)
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss good night
Ain't nothin' better
We beat the odds together
I'm glad we didn't listen
Look at what we would be missin'
They said, "I bet they'll never make it"
But just look at us holding on
We're still together still going strong
(You're still the one)
You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life
(You're still the one)
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss good night
(You're still the one)
You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life
(You're still the one)
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss good night
Beautiful Mess" by Diamond Rio

1st Verse
Goin' out of my mind these days
Like I'm walkin' 'round in a haze
I can't think straight
I can't concentrate
And I need a shave
2nd Verse
I go to work, and I look tired
The boss man says 'Son, you're gonna get fired'
This ain't your style
And behind my coffee cup
I just smile
Chorus
What a beautiful mess
What a beautiful mess I'm in
Spendin' all my time with you
There's nothin' else I'd rather do
What a sweet addiction that I'm caught up in
'Cause I can't get enough
Can't stop the hunger for your love
What a beautiful
What a beautiful mess I'm in, ah ha
3rd Verse
This mornin' (I) put salt in my coffee
I put my shoes on the wrong feet
I'm losin' my mind, I swear
It might be the death of me
But I don't care
(Repeat Chorus)
Bridge
Is it your eyes, is it your smile
All I know is that you're drivin' me wild
(Chorus Out)
difference in living and living well(not sure who the singer is)

Had a nice little life A little boat a little beach A little routine I liked
A blue ocean view Free to go with the flow Anywhere that I wanted to But the moment you set foot on my shore That's when I knew There's a difference in Living and living well You can't have it all
All by yourself Something's always missing 'Til you share it with someone else there's a difference in living and living well 'Til you smiled with me
Thought that I had it good
As good as it could be From the back of my deck Caught a fish caught a breeze And a thousand red sunsets But sitting here with you girl I just saw The best one yet There's a difference in Living and living well You can't have it all All by yourself Something's always missing 'Til you share it with someone else There's a difference in living and living well My days are brighter My sky a deeper blue My nights are sweeter When I'm with you There's a difference in Living and living well You can't have it all All by yourself Something's always missing 'Til you share it with someone else There's a difference in living and living well
Breathe*Faith Hill

I can feel the magic floating in the air
Being with you gets me that way
I watch the sunlight dance across your face
And I've never been this swept away
All my thoughts seem to settle on the breeze
When I'm lying wrapped in your arms
The whole world just fades away
The only thing I hear
Is the beating of your heart
'Cause I can feel you breathe
It's washing over me
And suddenly I'm melting into you
There's nothing left to prove
Baby all we need is just to be...
Caught up in the touch
The slow and steady rush
Baby, is'nt that the way that loves supposed to be?
I can feel you breathe - Just breathe
In a way I know my heart is waking up
As all the walls come tumbling down
Closer than I've ever felt before
And I know and you know
There's no need for words right now
'Cause I can feel you breathe
It's washing over me
And suddenly I'm melting into you
There's nothing left to prove
Baby all we need is just to be...
Caught up in the touch
The slow and steady rush
Baby, is'nt that the way that loves supposed to be?
I can feel you breathe - Just breathe
Caught up in the touch
The slow and steady rush
Baby, isnt that the way that loves supposed to be?
I can feel you breathe - Just breathe
I can feel the magic floating in the air
Being with you gets me that way
( dont no the name or singer)

You're my soul and my heart's inspiration
You're all I've got to get me by
You're my soul and my heart's inspiration Without you baby what good am I Baby, I can't make it without ya And I'm, I'm tellin' ya honey You're my reason for laughin', for cryin', for livin' and for dyin'

Right Here Waiting ~ Richard Marx

Oceans apart day after day
And I slowly go insane I hear your voice on the line But it doesn't stop the pain If I see you next to never How can we say forever Wherever you go
Whatever you do I will be right here waiting for you Whatever it takes Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you I took for granted, all the times That I thought would last somehow I hear the laughter, I taste the tears But I can't get near you now Oh, can't you see it baby You've got me goin' crazy Wherever you go Whatever you do I will be right here waiting for you Whatever it takes Or how my heart breaks
I will be right here waiting for you I wonder how we can survive This romance But in the end if I'm with you I'll take the chance Oh, can't you see it baby
You've got me goin' crazy Wherever you go Whatever you do I will be right here waiting for you Whatever it takes Or how my heart breaks I will be right here waiting for you

Amazed ~ LoneStar

Every time our eyes meet
This feeling inside me Is almost more than I can take Baby when you touch me I can feel how much you love me And it just blows me away I've never been this close to anyone or anything
I can hear your thoughts I can see your dreams I don't know how you do what you do I'm so in love with you, it just keeps getting better I wanna spend the rest of my life with you by my side Forever and ever Every little thing that you do Baby, I'm amazed by you The smell of your skin The taste of your kiss
The way you whisper in the dark
Your hair all around me, baby you surround me You touch every place in my heart Oh, it feels like the first time, everytime
I wanna spend the whole night in your eyes I don't know how you do what you do I'm so in love with you, it just keeps getting better I wanna spend the rest of my life with you by my side
Forever and ever Every little thing that you do Baby, I'm amazed by you Every little thing that you do I'm so in love with you, it just keeps gettin' better
I wanna spend the rest of my life with you by my side Forever and ever Every little thing that you do Oh yeah, every little thing that you do Baby, I'm amazed by you.

Hero ~ Mariah Carey

There's a hero If you look inside your heart You don't have to be afraid Of what you are
There's an answer If you reach into your soul And the sorrow that you know Will melt away
And then a hero comes along
With the strength to carry on
And you cast your fears aside
And you know you can survive
So when you feel like hope is gone Look inside you and be strong And you'll finally see the truth That a hero lies in you
It's a long road When you face the world alone No one reaches out a hand For you to hold
You can find love If you search within yourself And the emptiness you felt Will disappear
And then a hero comes along
With the strength to carry on
And you cast your fears aside
And you know you can survive
So when you feel like hope is gone Look inside you and be strong And you'll finally see the truth That a hero lies in you
Oh....oh Lord knows Dreams are hard to follow But don't let anyone Tear them away
Hold on There will be tomorrow
In time You'll find the way
Then a hero comes along
With the strength to carry on
And you cast your fears aside
And you know you can survive
So when you feel like hope is gone Look inside you and be strong And you'll finally see the truth That a hero lies in you
i hope you dane*le ann womak

hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat
But always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give fate a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistanceLiving might mean taking chances
But they're worth taking
Lovin' might be a mistake
But it's worth making
Don't let some hell bent heart
Leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out Reconsider Give the heavens above More than just a passing glance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a real and constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give fate a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
Dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a real and constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
I hope you dance
(Where those years have gone)
(Tell me who)
I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)

(singer?name?)
Life's a dance you learn as you go:Sometimes you lead; sometimes you follow.
Don't worry 'bout what you don't know.Life's a dance you learn as you go.The longer I live, the more I believe, You do have to give if you want to receive.
There's a time listen, a time to talk; And you might have to crawl even after you walk.
Had sure-things blow up in my face. Seen the long-shot win the race. Been knocked down by the slamming door, Picked myself up and came back for more.
Life's a dance you learn as you go: Sometimes you lead; sometimes you follow.
Don't worry 'bout what you don't know. Life's a dance you learn as you go.

What's Forever For
I've been looking at people
And how they change with the times And lately all I've been seeing are people Throwing love away and losing their minds
Or maybe it's me that's gone crazy 'Cause I can't understand why  All these lovers keep hurting each other When good love is so hard to come by
So what's the glory in living
Doesn't anybody ever stay together anymore And if love never lasts forever  Tell me what's forever for I've been listening to people And they say love is the key And it's not my way to let them lead me astray
It's only that I want to believe
But I see love-hungry people
Trying their best to survive
While in their hands is a dying romance And they're not even trying to keep it alive  So what's the glory in living  Doesn't anybody ever stay together anymore  And if love never lasts forever  Tell me what's forever for
(name?singer?)

Your heart's been broken, you don't wanna open up to me
But can't you see All that you're needing is someone to believe in you And when you are no longer afarid Darlin' I'll be just one word away Say when, I'll be there by your side For a day, for a year, for the rest of my life
I know you're not ready But someday your heart's gonna mend I'll give you love without end Say when Could be tomorrow, maybe a little farther down the road Your heart will know My love is timeless and you're gonna find it's true And no matter how long it takes If it means holding you I can wait
Say when, I'll be there by your side For a day, for a year, for the rest of my life I know you're not ready But someday your heart's gonna mend I'll give you love without end Say when I know you're not ready But someday your heart's gonna mend I'll give you love without end Say when, say when

forever and always SHANIA TWAIN

In your arms I can still feel the way you want me when you hold me I can still hear the words you whispered when you told me
I can stay right here forever in your arms And there ain't no way-- I'm lettin' you go now
And there ain't no way--and there ain't not how I'll never see that day....
[Chorus:]
'Cause I'm keeping you forever and for always We will be together all of our day Wanna wake up every morning to your sweet face--always

Mmmm, baby In your heart--I can still hear a beat for every time you kiss me And when we're apart, I know how much you miss me I can feel your love for me in your heart  And there ain't no way--I'm lettin' you go now And there ain't now way--
and there ain't no how I'll never see that day....
[Repeat Chorus]

(I wanna wake up every morning) In your eyes--(I can still see the look of the one) I can still see the look of the one who really loves me (I can still feel the way that you want) The one who wouldn't put anything else in the world above me (I can still see love for me) I can still see love for me in your eyes (I still see the love) And there ain't no way--I'm lettin' you go now And there ain't no way--and there ain't no how I'll never see that day....
[Repeat Chorus (2x)]
I'm keeping you forever and for always I'm in your arms
AUSTIN
By: Blake Shelton

she left without leaving a number
Said she needed to clear her mind
He figured she'd gone back
to Austin
'Cause she talked about it
all the time
It was almost a year
Before she called him up
Three rings and
an answering machine
Is what she got
If you're calling 'bout the car,
I sold it
If this is Tuesday night, I'm bowling
If you got something to sell
You're wasting your time
I'm not buying
If it's anybody else
Wait for the tone
You know what to do
And P.S. if this is Austin
I still love you
The telephone fell to the counter
She heard but she couldn't believe
What kinda man
would hang on that long
What kinda love that must be
She waited three days
And then she tried again
She didn't know what she'd say
But she heard three rings and then

If it's Friday night,
I'm at the ball game
And first thing Saturday,
if it don't rain
I'm headed up to the lake
And I'll be gone all weekend long
But I'll call you back
When I get home
On Sunday afternoon
And P.S. if this is Austin
I still love you

This time she left her number
But not another word
Then she waited by the phone
On Sunday evening
And this is what he heard
If you're calling 'bout my heart
It's still yours
I shoulda listened to it a little more
Then it wouldn't have
Taken me so long
To know where i belong
And by the way boy
This is no machine you're talking to
Can't you tell this is Austin
And i still love you

(name?singer?)
I've been tellin' my dreams to the scarecrow
'Bout the places that I'd like to see
I said, friend do you think I'll ever get there
Ah, but he just stands there smilin' back at me
So I confessed my sins to the preacher
About the love I've been prayin' to find
Is there a brown eye'd boy in my future, yeah
He says. girl you've got nothin' but time
But how do you wait for heaven
And who has that much time
And how do you keep your feet on the ground
When you know, that you were born, you were born to fly
My daddy, he's grounded like the oak tree
My momma, she is steady as the sun
Oh you know I love my folks
But I keep starin' down the road
Just lookin' for my one chance to run
Yeah, 'cause I will soar away like the lackbird
I will blow in the wind like a sea
I will plant my heart in the garden of my dreams
And I will grow up where I'll wander wild and free
Oh, how do you wait for heaven
And who has that much time
And how do you keep your feet on the ground
When you know, that you were born
You were born yeah
You were born to fly
So how do you wait for heaven
And who has that much time
And how do you keep your feet on the ground
When you know that you were born
You were born to fly fly fly fly
Hey
Ooooh, ooooh

(name?singer?)
When the moon is bright
On a Saturday night
There's a thousand stars in the sky
On a winding road her memory flows
She'll face the fact
She wants to go back
Chrous:
She opens her heart to an old memory
She closes her eyes and she smiles
Just ask her if she ever still
Thinks about me
She'll say "Every once in a while,
Every once in a while"

She tries to forget
But she hasn't yet
Not a single day goes by
That feeling again reminds of when
I held her tight, it felt so right

Repeat Chorus

And every once in a while
She calls my name out loud
And when she thinks about us
She'll face the fact
She wants to go back

(name?singer?)

I was standing at the end of my rainbow
With nowhere to go and no pot of gold in sight
All my wishes were just way too much to hope for
But when I saw you I knew I'd seen the light
And not a moment too soon
Without a minute to spare
You touched my heart
When I didn't have a prayer
In my darkest hour
With my world filled with gloom
Your sweet love saved me
Not a moment too soon
I used to think that love would never find me
And the one who cares was lost somewhere in time
But when you found me I knew I'd found forever
You rescued me just before I crossed the line
And not a moment too soon
Without a minute to spare
You touched my heart
When I didn't have a prayer
In my darkest hour
With my world filled with gloom
Your sweet love saved me
Not a moment too soon
Your sweet love saved me
Not a moment too soon
Not a moment too soon

(he didnt have to be by?)
When a single mom goes out on a date with somebody new
It always winds up feeling more like a job interview
My momma used to wonder if she'd ever meet someone
Who wouldn't find out about me and then turn around and run
I met the man I call my dad when I was five years old
He took my mom out to a movie and for once I got to go
A few months later I remember lying there in bed
I overheard him pop the question and prayed that she'd say yes
And then all of a sudden
Oh, it seemed so strange to me
How we went from something's missing
To a family
Lookin' back all I can say
About all the things he did for me
Is I hope I'm at least half the dad
That he didn't have to be
I met the girl that's now my wife about three years ago
We had the perfect marriage but we wanted somethin' more
Now here I stand surrounded by our family and friends
Crowded 'round the nursery window as they bring the baby in
And now all of a sudden
It seemed so strange to me
How we've gone from something's missing
To a family
Lookin' through the glass I think about the man
That's standin' next to me
And I hope I'm at least half the dad
That he didn't have to be
Lookin' back all I can say
About all the things he did for me
Is I hope I'm at least half the dad
That he didn't have to be
Yeah, I hope I'm at least half the dad
That he didn't have to be
Because he didn't have to be
You know he didn't have to be

(you won't ever be lonely by?)
Life may not always go your way
And every once in awhile you might have a bad day
But I promise you now you won't ever be lonely
The sky turns dark and everything goes wrong
Run to me and I'll leave the light on
And I promise you now you won't ever be lonely
For as long as I live
There will always be a place you belong
Here beside me
Heart and soul baby - you only
And I promise you now you won't ever be lonely
It's still gonna snow and it's still gonna rain
The wind's gonna blow on a cold winter day
And I promise you now you won't ever be lonely
You're safe from the world wrapped in my arms
And I'll never let go
Baby, here's where it starts
And I promise you now you won't ever be lonely
Here's a shoulder you can cry on
And a love you can rely on
For as long as I live
There will always be a place you belong
Here beside me
Heart and soul baby - you only
And I promise you now you won't ever be lonely
No, no, you won't ever be lonely
(she dont no she s beautiful by ?)

We go out to a party somewhere
The moment we walk in the door
People stop and everybody stares
She don't know what they're staring for
She don't know she's beautiful (never crossed her mind)
She don't know she's beautiful (no she's not that kind)
She don't know she's beautiful
Though time and time I've told her so
There she goes just walking down the street
And someone lets a whistle out
A girl like her she just can't see
What the fuss is all about
And she don't know she's beautiful (never crossed her mind)
She don't know she's beautiful (no she's not that kind)
She don't know she's beautiful
Though time and time I've told her so
Morning comes and her hair's all a mess
That's when she thinks she looks her worst
It's times like this she don't know why
I can't take my eyes off her
'Cause she don't know she's beautiful (never crossed her mind)
She don't know she's beautiful (no she's not that kind)
She don't know she's beautiful
Though time and time I've told her
She don't know she's beautiful (never crossed her mind)
She don't know she's beautiful (no she's not that kind)
She don't know she's beautiful
Though time and time I've told her
She don't know she's beautiful (never crossed her mind)
She don't know she's beautiful (no she's not that kind)
She don't know she's beautiful
Though time and time I've told her so

(when you say nothing at all by Tim Mcgraw?)
It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word, you can light up the dark
Try as I may I could never explain
What I hear when you don't say a thing
Chorus:
The smile on your face let's me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me
A touch of your hand says you'll catch me whenever I fall
But you say it best when you say nothing at all
All day long I can hear people talking out loud
But when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd
Old Mr. Webster could never define
What's being said between your heart and mine
(Chorus twice)
Baby tell me where'd you ever learn
To fight without sayin' a word
Then waltz back into my life
Like it's all gonna be alright
Don't you know how much it hurts

(name?singer?)
When we don't talk
When we don't touch
When it doesn't feel like we're even in love
It matters to me
When I don't know what to say
Don't know what to do
Don't know if it really even matters to you
How can I make you see
It matters to me
Maybe I still don't understand
The distance between a woman and a man
So tell me how far it is
And how you can love like this
'Cause I'm not sure I can
When we don't talk
When we don't touch
When it doesn't feel like we're even in love
It matters to me
When I don't know what to say
Don't know what to do
Don't know if it really even matters to you
How can I make you see
It matters to me

(your love by?)
Dancin' in the dark,
Middle of the night.
Takin' your heart.
And holdin' it tight.
Emotional touch,
Touchin' my skin.
And askin' you to do,
What you've been doin' all over again.
Oh, it's a beautiful thing,
Don't think I can keep it all in.
I just gotta let you know,
What it is that won't let me go.
It's your love,
It just does somethin' to me.
It sends a shock right through me,
I can't get enough.
And if you wonder,
About the spell I'm under.
Oh, it's your love.
Better than I was,
More than I am.
And all of this happened,
By takin' your hand.
And who I am now,
Is who I wanted to be.
And now that we're together,
I'm stronger than ever, I'm happy and free.
Oh, it's a beautiful thing,
Don't think I can keep it all in, (No.)
And if you asked me why I changed,
All I gotta do is say your sweet name.
It's your love,
It just does somethin' to me.
It sends a shock right through me,
I can't get enough.
And if you wonder,
About the spell I'm under.
Oh, it's your love.
(Oh, baby.)
(Oh, whoa ho.)
Oh, it's a beautiful thing,
Don't think I can keep it all in.
I just gotta let you know,
What it is that won't let me go.
It's your love
It just does somethin' to me,
It sends a shock right through me.
I can't get enough.
(Oh) And if you wonder.
About the spell I'm under,
Oh, it's your love.
It's your love.
It's your love.

Baby Don't Turn Out The Light
I Wanna See You Look At Me
Whisper Only Truth Tonight
Not Just Promises And Empty Fantasies
I Don't Need A Bed Of Roses
'cause Roses Wither Away
All I Really Need Is Honesty
From Someone With A Strong Heart Strong Heart A Gentle Hand
Who'll Take Me As I Am
Baby I Need For You To Know
Just Exactly How I Feel
Fiery Passions Come And Go
I'd Trade A Million Pretty Words For One Touch That Is Real
I Don't Need A Bed Of Roses
'cause Roses Wither Away
All I Really Need Is Honesty
From Someone With A Strong Heart Strong Heart A Gentle Hand
Who'll Take Me As I Am
I Don't Need A Bed Of Roses
'cause Roses Wither Away
All I Really Need Is Honesty
From Someone With A Strong Heart Strong Heart A Gentle Hand
Who'll Take Me As I Am
From Someone With A Strong Heart Strong Heart A Gentle Hand
Who'll Take Me As I Am

(amanda by boston)
Babe, tomorrow's so far away
There's something I just have to say
I don't think I could hide
What I'm feeling inside
Another day
Knowin' I love you
And I - I'm getting too close again
I don't want to see it end
If I tell you tonight
Will you turn out the light
And walk away
Knowin' I love you?
Chorus:
I'm gonna take you by surprise
And make you realize
Amanda
I'm gonna tell you right away
I can't wait another day
Amanda
I'm gonna say it like a man
And make you understand
Amanda
I love you

And, I feel like today's the day
I'm lookin for the words to say
Do you wanna be free
Are you ready for me
To feel this way?
I don't wanna lose ya
So it may be too soon
I know
The feelin' takes so long to grow
If I tell you today
Will you turn me away
And let me go?
I don't wanna lose you

Repeat Chorus

You and I - I know that we can't wait
And I swear - I swear it's not a lie girl,
Tomorrow may be too late
You - you and I girl - we can share a life together
It's now or never
And tomorrow may be too late
And, feelin' the way I do
I don't wanna wait my whole life through
To say I'm in love with you
AMANDA BY WAYLONG JENNINGS?

I've held it all inward, God knows, I've tried,
But it's an awful awakening in a country boy's life,
To look in the mirror in total surprise.
At the hair on my shoulders and the age in my eyes.
Amanda, light of my life.
Fate should have made you a gentleman's wife.
Amanda, light of my life.
Fate should have made you a gentleman's wife.
It's a measure of people who don't understand,
The pleasures of life in a hillbilly band.
I got my first guitar when I was fourteen,
Well I finally made forty, still wearing jeans.
Amanda, light of my life.
Fate should have made you a gentleman's wife.
Amanda, light of my life.
Fate should have made you a gentleman's wife.
I Think We're Alone Now

Children behave
That's what they say when we're together
And watch how you play
They don't understand
And so we're
Running just as fast as we can
Holdin' onto one another's hand
Tryin' to get away into the night
And then you put your arms around me
And we tumble to the ground
And then you say
I think we're alone now
There does't seem to be anyone around
I think we're alone now
The beating of our hearts is the only sound
Look at the way
We gotta hide what we're doin'
'Cause what would they say
If they ever knew and so we're
Running just as fast as we can
Holdin' onto one another's hand
Tryin' to get away into the night
And then you put your arms around me
And we tumble to the ground
And then you say
I think we're alone now
There does't seem to be anyone around
I think we're alone now
The beating of our hearts is the only sound
I think we're alone now
There does't seem to be anyone around
I think we're alone now
The beating of our hearts is the only sound
[break]
Running just as fast as we can
Holdin' onto one another's hand
Tryin' to get away into the night
And then you put your arms around me
And we tumble to the ground
And then you say
I think we're alone now
There does't seem to be anyone around
I think we're alone now
The beating of our hearts is the only sound
I think we're alone now
There does't seem to be anyone around
I think we're alone now
The beating of our hearts is the only sound
I think we're alone now
There does't seem to be anyone around
I think we're alone now
The beating of our hearts is the only sound
(WRINKLES BY DIMOND RIO?)

Gettin' out of the tub all drawn up like a raisin,
Showed my fingers to my Daddy while he was shavin'.
Said: "Look at my toes, Dad, what's wrong with my skin?
"Will this go away, will I be normal again?"
Well he picked me up, set me down on the hamper;
Wiped off his face while he gave me the answer.
It was the first time I noticed the lines in his grin,
As he dabbed a little foam on the end of my chin.
An' he said: "Those wrinkles ain't nothin' to be scared of.
"They're just a product of time and true love.
"Some are gonna come and go, some are gonna come and stay.
"Son, you're still young: you're gonna be ok."
Well, I walked down the hall, saw my Momma gettin ready,
For a long overdue date: dinner with Daddy.
She was cussin' those crows feet, didn't know I was listenin'.
Started talkin' bout her younger years an' how much she missed them.
And I said: "Those wrinkles ain't nothin' to be scared of.
"They're just a product of time and true love.
"Some are gonna come and go, some are gonna come and stay.
"Mom, you still look young: you're gonna be ok."
As I get a little older, I'm startin' to get a few,
And I'm sure I gave Mom and Dad at least one or two.
We're all gonna have em, there ain't no doubt,
But those wrinkles in life ain't nothin' you can't iron out.
Those wrinkles ain't nothin' to be scared of.
Some are gonna come and go, some are gonna come and stay.
I still feel young, I'm gonna be ok.
Those wrinkles ain't nothin' to be scared of.

(DONT LAUGH AT ME BY?)
I'm a little boy with glasses
The one they call the geek
A little girl who never smiles
'Cause I've got braces on my teeth
And I know how it feels
To cry myself to sleep
I'm that kid on every playground
Who's always chosen last
A single teenage mother
Tryin' to overcome my past
You don't have to be my friend
But is it too much to ask
Don't laugh at me
Don't call me names
Don't get your pleasure from my pain
In God's eyes we're all the same
Someday we'll all have perfect wings
Don't laugh at me
I'm the cripple on the corner
You've passed me on the street
And I wouldn't be out here beggin'
If I had enough to eat
And don't think I don't notice
That our eyes never meet
I lost my wife and little boy when
Someone cross that yellow line
The day we laid them in the ground
Is the day I lost my mind
And right now I'm down to holdin'
This little cardboard sign... so
Don't laugh at me
Don't call me names
Don't get your pleasure from my pain
In God's eyes we're all the same
Someday we'll all have perfect wings
Don't laugh at me
I'm fat, I'm thin, I'm short, I'm tall
I'm deaf, I'm blind, hey, aren't we all
Don't laugh at me
Don't call me names
Don't get your pleasure from my pain
In God's eyes we're all the same
Someday we'll all have perfect wings
Don't laugh at me

(Sherrie Austin/Paul Duncan/Al Kasha)

Hello God, it's me again. 2:00 a.m., Room 304.
Visiting hours are over, time for our bedside tug of war.
This sleeping child between us may not make it through the night.
I'm fighting back the tears as she fights for her life.
Well, it must be kind of crowded,
On the streets of Heaven.
So tell me: what do you need her for?
Don't you know one day she'll be your little girl forever.
But right now I need her so much more.
She's much too young to be on her own:
Barely just turned seven.
So who will hold her hand when she crosses the streets of Heaven?
Tell me God, do you remember the wishes that she made,
As she blew out the candles on her last birthday cake?
She wants to ride a pony when she'd big enough.
She wants to marry her Daddy when she's all grown up.
Lord, don't you know she's my angel
You got plenty of your own
And I know you hold a place for her
But she's already got a home
Well I don't know if you're listenin'
But praying is all that's left to do
So I ask you Lord have mercy, you lost a son once too
And it must be kind of crowded,
On the streets of Heaven.
So tell me: what do you need her for?
Don't you know one day she'll be your little girl forever.
But right now I need her so much more.
Lord, I know once you've made up your mind,
There's no use in beggin'.
So if you take her with you today, will you make sure she looks both ways,
And would you hold her hand when she crosses the streets of Heaven.
The streets of Heaven.
