Welcome
to the home of Blackie
and Tuftie!! For
anyone who doesn't know
or hasn't guessed by
now, Blackie and Tuftie
are my pet
gerbils! Just a
quick warning that if
you don't like rodents
then don't come any
further 'cos I'm going
to be putting up some
photo's of them
throughout these
pages! :o)
For
all those people who
want to know what I look
like, this is going to
be the closest you get
to finding out I'm
afraid! I just
don't feel safe having
photo's of me or my
family (including hubby
and the gebils) up and
it's taking all of
everything I've got to
persuade myself to put
these photo's up.
Why? Because the
way my mind and paranoia
works is that any
photo's that I put
online of anything in my
life is a way for my
(blood relative) family
to identify me and if
they identify me then...
well, read my Depression
site if you want to
know why I'm so
reluctant to let my
(blood relative) family
into my life and why I
don't want them to be
able to identify me.
Anyway,
back on to cheerier
things - the
gerbils!! :o)
I'm
planning all sorts of
things for these pages,
but I don't know how
much I'll actually get
around to putting up
here! lol
I'm hoping to put up
photo's of them at 8, 9,
10, 11 and 12 weeks and
then every month or so
after that. They
came to live with me and
hubby when they were
about 7 weeks old, but I
didn't take any photo's
of them during the first
week 'cos I didn't want
to scare them with the
flash on hubby's digital
camera and it wasn't
until the next week that
I could get a digital
camera that didn't flash
so I could take photo's
of them :o)
So,
sit back, relax, and
take a trip through
these pages and get to
know my pets, friends,
therapists and lifeline
a bit better... welcome
to the world of Blackie
and Tuftie! |
