LOWNDES FUTURE UNCERTAIN

Craig Lowndes future for season 2001 is uncertain. With his contract with HRT running out at the end of this year (2000) Roumor has it that he is looking to move on to another holden team, or even worse an opposition ford team. Some Say it is a publicity stunt....which it may well be, but devoted fans around the country are praying that Craigs Future with ford will not be.

Not only does Lowndes win a 3 races, pole position and the whole round...but he does it in a brand new car! new cars can cause problems but not for the kid who aced the whole 2 days! The Kid is Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Craig Lowndes and Mark Skaife have been given the Honor of holding the Olypic Relay Torch.
Skaife will be running with the Torch in Perth sometime, whilst on the 2nd of July Lowndes has been given the honor of doing a hot lap of Mt Panorama, Bathurst, in his V8 HRT Supercar, with the Relay Torch. A great honor for both of the Best drivers around.

Lowndes Jumps to 4th!

After a Run of Bad luck Craig Lowndes luck changed last weekend resulting in Podium Finish....2nd Place at the GMC 400 in Canberra. with a 13th, 10th and a first place he landed 4th on the points table....and still in the contention to defend his Championship.

Lowndes is charged for reckless driving!
Round 4
Craig Lowndes was found guilty and charged after the Race 3 incident with Paul Radisich at Eastern Creek Raceway. This resulted in loosing 15 much valued and needed Championship Points.Lowndes was earlier cleared of any charges for the Race 2 incident with Garth Tander.
