The Same Day Again
Home
Im only skin
Nail polish remover
And its rotting away
Driving past the jagged railway
Hamburgers in the bag
Where were waiting for the slaughter house
Laughing for the crooked tension
Could this be not hard enough?
Tears falling to peace music
With the forest comes the sky line
With the marriage comes the countryside
On to the lonely city
Maybe Ill only fly away
Lay down, shut my eyes
Autumn leaves falling
This is how I walk
My abortion baby
With a scar in my stomach
This is how I talk
Cathedral ringing bells
With a screaming in my ear
Where theyre waiting, I will run
The Baltimore bridge lights
Could this be not hard enough?
When my angels tear the shadows
Stumbling to the dust
And you love this faint hearted expression
My rotten cherry fruit.
