| Be sure to follow these steps for a successful WebQuest. Look back at the project rubric before you begin your writing.. | |||||||||||||
| Step 1: Choose a character to discuss from the novel. Step 2: Determine the two problems that the character may face throughout the course of the novel. Step 3: Research these problems and their relevance to the time period using the Internet, library resources, or the text of Of Mice and Men. Take concise notes or use a highlighter to mark relevant information. Step 4: Look for information that may be inserted into your writing for parenthetically documented or directly quoted citations. Step 5: Brainstorm or freewrite about your character and topic. Step 6: Organize your notes into Harvard Outline Format or Sunburst Diagram Format. Step 7: Write first rough draft. Step 8: Revise and edit your work. Consult your project rubric. Step 9: Write second rough draft. Step 10: Revise and edit with a peer editor. Grade your work using the project rubric. Step 11: Complete typed final draft. |
