It has alwayd been said, that friends are hard to find. I
believe that this is true. It has also been said that
soulmates can never be parted. I believe this is true also.
Sixteen year old Mandy and her best friend Jeannie
suffered a tragic loss Monday August 7, 2000.
Each other.
They were always cheek to cheek.
While the two were traveling through Pasadena, TX on
Monday afternoon, Jeannie lost control of her car, and
they crashed into a concrete wall.
The car burst into flames.
Ordinary people turned into heros that day, as they
stopped their cars, and rushed to pull the girl out of the
burning car. Jeannie was pulled out first, and through group
efforts, Mandy was rescued just before the fire reached
the gas tank.
Both girls were taken by life flight to Herman Hospital in Houston, TX.
Jeannie Brill died on the operating table.
Mandy is recovering at Herman Hospital.
This Page is dedicated to both girls, who each lost something very dear,
and very precious.
