Once again the Rholetter family provided a wonderful, varied, line-up for their 12th annual Fall Bluegrass Festival. If you love the old songs, you will always hear a choice selection of them at a Rholetter's festival. Mr. Ed Teague and The Georgia MountainBand started things off with their authentic mountain string band sound. The energy level kept building from there.

Rholetter's is truly a family festival. We are always struck by how many children are enjoying the music and learning to play. N.W. South Carolina and nearby areas of Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina has long been known as a rich homeground for traditional music.

One evening a scheduled band was absent. Volunteers were called for to fill the spot. No time for rehearsal. The audience was treated to "The Best We Could Find" Band. On stage were 3 generations of local boys, some of them members of well known bands. They had fun. The audience had fun. The music was good! These men had been playing together and learning from one another all their musical lives. And we could hear it!

The next festival will be September 1-3 2005.
Be sure to come and bring your broken instruments for Tony to fix.
