During his formative years, MandoRando (Randy Brewer) played guitar and bass in numerous garage bands, many of which never left the garage. He patiently waited for the Rolling Stones to ask him to tour.....The highlight of his young career was an appearence on the syndicated TV program, "The Paul Dixon Show", at the age of 13. "It's all been pretty much downhill since then", says Rando. ater he played with several local and regional bands in Ohio and Kentucky. "Mick and Keith never called, and Paul Dixon was dead; I was going nowhere!"
MandoRando spent five years making other people famous (well, sort of) as a morning dee jay in greater Cincinnati. Then after a few years in Europe he returned to Ohio to start the Midwest's first bluegrass "Kraftwerk and Nina Hagen Tribute Band." After learning several innovators had beat him to the punch, Rando decided to perform a variety of originals and covers, in folk, rock, alt country, and world music styles. Though his first love is mandolin, Rando also plays guitar, bass and tabla. You can hear him as a solo performer and on mandolin with the amazing Troubadours of Divine Bliss.
