No longer on my own
I really don't have a lot to write about this week, but I thought I would make a post anyways. My most exciting news is that Andrew arrived last Thursday AND he is staying until April 16th.
So overall, at the moment, I am pretty happy. I am also currently dressed like a Belgian. I am wearing a knee-length skirt and knee high boots. I am also regretting it because I have to walk home in these boots. Hm, not the best decision on my part. Oh well. I had to do it once. I wanted to take advantage of the fact that now I have a couple skirts.
Back to Andrew being here. We haven't done much yet. I have shown him around the exciting city of Mons. He has tasted fantastic Belgian hot chocolate and Belgian beer. Time has been spent getting him acquainted with the surroundings. Coming up we have some exciting things planned. This week we will be going to Brussels (Fulbright meeting), Bruges (concert) and Braine-le-Comte (dog-sitting). Then a week from today, we are going to Stockholm Sweden. So the next blog should be a bit more interesting. I just wanted to post something to share that all is well and that I didn't forget.
