Here's what's happening overseas!
Je suis occupée? JAMAIS!
I couldn't think of a title, so that was what I came up with.

This week has been eventful, somewhat. Most exciting news for me has been at the gym. Last Thursday, I had a free hour with a personal trainer just because I was there, I spoke English and he was bored. He was visiting from Turkey and he didn't speak any French, so I won. And I hurt the next day. Then yesterday I finished my 5K on the treadmill in 25:20. I am 40 seconds away from an 8min/mile. I am going to rock the races next summer! Hopefully . . .

If you look at my newly added pictures, you will see some Christmas fun. The weather here is miserable (very depressing, very grey), but the saving grace is the Christmas Market in the Grand Place. They even made a heart-shaped ice rink. It's funny watching people try to ice skate here. Hee hee. There are Xmas lights up all over. You walk by and you smell the evergreen trees, hot wine, and sausages (they actually smell good and christmasy). *sigh*

Yesterday, I finally met the majority of the English Department. We had a staff meeting/potluck. It was the first staff meeting that I've been to where there was wine.

Coming up . . . I am throwing a Christmas Party tonight with Mai. Tomorrow I'm going to the Soiree Allemande to see the German girls perform something. Saturday I am going to Cologne, Germany to go to the Christmas Markets there. Watch for updates after the weekend.
