Kalamera! Me Lene AMANTA.
(ka-la-mare-a! me lane-a a-man-da)
This is what I have learned this week. That's right. I'm taking Greek. Why you ask? The logical response would be that Drew and I would like to go to Greece over my spring break (which is true). The real reason, I was bored and figured what the hell.
I have also taught my first class. I think we're reaching double digits with students for me. Woo hoo! Next week we're talking about Halloween. Seriously. I also took two French classes, both of which made me feel like an idiot and shocked that I am a French teacher. Then I reminded myself that these classes are for francophone (native french speaking) students, so it should be hard. I failed at finding my Italian class, but I'm going to try again next week.
In addition, I have a schedule, which I believe is the greatest achievement I have made thus far. Setting a schedule in this place is difficult and I'm not the only one who had problems.
It is starting to get chilly here. I'm trying to be tough and win against the weather. I'm not going to take out my sweaters yet!! I don't know how much longer that can wait though as it is 15°C (I don't know what that is in F, it's just the temperature listed on the bank).
That's all for now. Stay tuned for news following my Luxembourg adventure of war and riches.
