Chuck arrives in the small town of Tingalla only to have already made enemies with the town bullies, �The Bandits�. Going to the Local Milk Bar to see if he can make some friends, Chuck runs into Sarah, whose father is currently the biggest joke in Tingalla. After sparking an argument Sarah walks out only to take Chuck�s Bag instead. Chuck goes to return Sarah�s bag by inviting himself onto the Tingalla Rose, Currently a derelict boat Sarah and her Dad live on, to find two mysterious people, Buddy and Fingers. What he doesn�t know yet is that there ghosts. The Bandits try to cause some trouble by letting go of the rope that held the boat to the Warf but they can�t control the boat. Chuck who�s lazing in a small boat nearly gets run over but quickly jumps overboard. Sarah�s Dad invites him on the boat and Chuck volunteers to work there. On his way out after working he spots the two �mysterious� people again and sneaks up behind them and finds that there ghosts and he can put his hand right through them. He freaks out and Sarah gets mad for going behind there back and makes him swear that he wouldn�t tell anyone. Buddy and Fingers suggest that Chuck and Sarah join forces to get back at the bandits and then decide to become friends on equal terms.
