Day of the Dead Punch
(from http://www.perfectentertaining.com/halloween/hr195.html)

"We call this day of the day punch because the color makes it perfect for Halloween - and when we overindulge the day after we drink it feels like the day of the dead! We like floating glow in the dark plastic bones on top too and placing it in a dark corner."

12 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate
12 ounces frozen grape juice concentrate [I used concorde grape, better than the usual stuff]
2 liters chilled lemon-lime soda
1 liter chilled vodka [I omitted the vodka]
1 pint lime sherbert [I omitted the sherbert, though only because I was waiting for people to
arrive and then all of a sudden people were there]
Green and blue food coloring [I didn't bother with this; the blood red was good enough.]

Mix together everything in a large bowl or punch bowl and serve cold.

LYNDA SAYS: This had a nice, strong flavor, and I'd happily make it again. I'd like to see what the sherbert does to the mix, next time. I also froze water in gloves to create ice hands to go in the bowl; most of the fingers broke off almost immediately, but it was still fun.

EMILY SAYS: The Ice hand was cool! And it was fun to play with the extra one with LEDs and Robby's digital camera. :)
