CLAM
SAUCE

Ingredients:
2 large cans puréed tomatoes
3 cans minced clams
2 garlic cloves,
minced
1 tbsp celery flakes
1 tbsp parsley
flakes
1 tbsp sweet basil
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp whole black
pepper
¼ cup olive oil
dash of sage
Directions:
Drain clams – DO NOT
discard juice. Place drained clams in
bowl and refrigerate. Brown garlic in
olive oil, add tomatoes, clam juice, and other seasonings. Cook over medium low heat approximately 2
hours. Fifteen minutes before serving,
add minced clams. Serve with linguini
or our favorite pasta.
