EASTER BREAD

Ingredients:

 

6 eggs

1 ½ cups sugar

anisette (to taste)

1 cup oil

1 grated lemon rind

2 cups milk

3 tsp baking powder

flour

1 or 2 eggs, beaten

 

Directions:

 

Mix first five ingredients.  Add milk and mix well.  Add flour to make a consistent dough, not too hard or soft.  Form dough into buns of desired size.  Brush with beaten eggs.  Bake at 350° for 10 – 15 minutes or until buns are golden brown.
