The meeting was called to order at 7:35pm. The following members were present: |

Meetings this yearwill be held at 7:30pm on the 3rd Thursday of every month at the Freedom Township Hall. |

Treasures reportwas passed out to everyone. As of January 1st we have $1,741.84 in our account. |
|
|
|
There are currently 6 people on the list to get in, they will be accepted if they are still interested in joining the club. |
|
|
|
The fair this yearis scheduled for July 6-10. All clubs will be under one tent this year. The order will be the pigs in the front followed by the steer and then the lambs. We should have separate entrances for each club. |
|
|
|

Lamb Purchasing- |
|
|
|
We have 2 places we could possibly buy our sheep from this year, Mr. Rohem (who provided us with half of our sheep last year) or the livestock exchange(who found us our sheep the year before). We could be looking at a $1.50/lb as far as the price goes. Mr. Rohem has said he should have enough for us, but if we go with the exchange they may not be able to get us any, because lambs are currently scarce out west. If we are unable to get enough lambs from either place then we may have to divide where we purchase from, like we did last year. Start to think where you would like to get them from, we will need to decide shortly. |

Fundraisers?- |
|
|
|
Some possible ideas may include a raffle for a wool blanket like we have done in the past, candy bars which we also have done, pretzels, or a car wash. We may do more than one if needed or desired. If you have any ideas please let us know. |
|
