UPDATES ON ALUMNI

 

Lisa Kellner Logan:  I married my H.S. sweetheart the spring after I graduated and now have 3 children. We moved to TX for a while and since we've been back in CT, I started nursing school and will graduate 5/06...can't wait!!

Diana Brassell:  After an early retirement from the US Army I moved to China where I worked as a Christian Medical Missionary. I returned to The States in 2003 and began work on my Doctorate; I will graduate with a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Boston University in December 2006.  Still waiting and praying for Mr. Right!!!

Carrie Clifford will be getting remarried this year on August 1, 2006!  Congratulations Carrie!

Rosalyn Rockwood:  Keeping very busy with my two children, my oldest is in high school and my youngest is in kindergarten so this alone keeps me running. I love hiking and biking and just being outside with my husband and kids and helping out with my father, my mother passed away recently at the age of 57 of breast cancer.  

Teresa Cyr:  I have been married to a wonderful man for 17 years his name is Anthony (Tony) DiGregorio.  He's a Service Advisor at Scraton Motors in Vernon. I am a Hairdresser have been for the last 12 years I work at Hair World in Vernon, CT. We are busy redoing our house from the inside out. The kids keeps us busy with their dance classes, cheerleading, and sports (baseball and little miss softball right now.) We have 4 children

Mike Generis is married, has three kids and a mortgage......and couldn't be happier!

Rob Lovett and Diane Kinney have been married since 1989 and have two boys.

Jodi Nickerson and Todd Pine have been married since 1989!

Teri Burnett has been happily married to Sam Norman ('85) for 10 years and has 3 kids.

David Chatzky is a college woman's basketball coach at Wentworth in Boston.

Kristen Crocker works in hotel sales at a resort in Marco Island.  No kids, just a 110 pound chocolate lab.

Aaron Gaber is a Rabbi in Ventnor, NJ near Atlantic City for the past 6 years.  He is married to Shaorn Bromberg and they have 4 beautiful children --- Benjamin is  almost 13, Yonah (10), Aliza (7), and Reena is almost 4.

Alyssa Higley has lived in Idaho since 1990.  She lives in a small farming community where her husband grew up. 2 children and too many pets. She is a stay at home Mom and works part time at a video store which she loves!! Alyssa also breeds pomeranians.   Her husband is a medical technician and they are both volunteer EMT's.

Claudia Lindsey went to MCC for Accounting.  She worked for a number of years. She married in '97, had 2 girls and is fortunate enough to stay home with them.

Lisa Miller lives in Wethersfield with her husband Carter and her three children.  She is also a stay-at-hom mom!

Rebecca Morton is married to Harry Dalessio ('85) and her baby boy, Nicolas will be one in October.

Cindy Pilver enjoys her time with her family & friends, enjoys her works and is embarking on a new career.

Tom Colletti is a Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball coach, Rec. Basketball Coach, and is currently college searching with his 17 year old daughter.  He is married to Michele DiBella ('85).

Amy Corneliuson Strickland joined the Navy after high school and has been traveling the world ever since.  Last duty station is here in CT.  Married 16 years to a career Navy man with two daughters Lindsey 9 and Claire 5.   email:  [email protected]

Dale Christensen:  Live in Maine with wife and 3 kids, Dale Jr. (15), Ericka (12) & Ian (6) Since High School, I've been in a band (drummer), which we made 2 CD's (wrote, produced, directed, arranged and recorded) ourselves. band members David Christensen ('82), Doug Slater ('87) Mark Dippopo and myself. I've been married since 1989. Moved to the Mid-coast of Maine about 4 or 5 years ago and bought our first house in November of last year. I am currently the store manager of MaineScreen Video, a local, video store

Tala Durso:  No kids, no husband,& I like it that way! I've lived in NY, attended Trinity College (& continuing education) , I have managed artists in New Orleans, been a creative consultant on 2 major motion pictures, (so far), volunteered w/ Red Cross 4 Katrina.  I'm an activist, a writer, a traveler and I hope to be the next Michael Moore!...but more attractive and charming! Plus so much more!!! Can't wait 2 see U all!

Congratulations to Sheila Mistretta on her recent marriage to MHS alumni Tim Grady ('84)!  Also, Sheila is expecting twins this summer!  

Julia Falkowski Clark:  Terry and I met our senior year at UConn and have been living in Hebron for the past 3 years with our three children. I spent several years as a teacher in the Vernon Public Schools but have been home full time since our oldest child was born nine years ago.

Brian Arnold:  Happily married with two kids, working down on Wall Street for 
JPMorgan Chase.

Pamela Burney:  Received 2 AA from Capital Community College, currently 
attending CCSU for BS in Accounting

Carolyn St. Jean:  In San Francisco area for last 10 years, just had a baby boy this year with my husband Jason, who I met in college out here. We both work as designers. 

Shelley DeFreitas–Hickey. I am married to Don Hickey (class of ’84) for 15 years now. We have three children, two boys age 13 and 10 and a little girl age 6. We have been living in Columbia CT for over 14 years. I work a few hours a week at Easter Seals tutoring. I love working there. The rest of my time is spent caring for my three children.

Kim Backiel Masson:  Went to college after HS and rec'd a BS in accounting. First job out of college was at Lydall Inc and Paul Hubblard's (class of 86') mom hired me. Went on to Travelers Realty then to Uconn and have been here for 10 years. Fund accounting isn't as interesting as manufacturing but it's a living. Married a very hardworking adventurous French  Canadian who keeps the thrill in marriage. Family of skiiers, snowmobilers, boaters and just having fun doing it.

Despina Kalfas-Goldstein lives in Florida and has been married for 12 years.

David Hart:  Finished architectural degree in 1991, married Jessica Harris (87) in 1992, did a few design gigs in CT and Florida until finally settling in southern Maine in 1999.  Have 2 boys and a girl..10,8,and 5 years old.  Started my own firm in 2000 and also a part owner with a commercial firm.  Split my time in ME and CT and have an office in New Haven. Working hard for retirement

Kathy Keeler Lake:  Married with 6 month old little girl

Kim Saucier Ricci: Married, 2 kids, enjoying life

Marina Campos Barrett:  Happily, we just back moved to the United States and are just settling in

Rhonda Panciera Bartone:  went to MCC, moved to TN for a long w/e and came back home. I have 2 girls more defiant than me and a husband who works hard so we can enjoy life!

Christine Killian Mahan:  I Own a therapeutic horseback riding facility and work with special needs children and adults.

Sharon Hart Masters:  I am happily married 15 years. I have 2 boys and a girl-my joys, 4 horses, 3 dogs:) I have worked at Indpls Motor Speedway serving & meeting famous race car drivers etc. I am now a Special Ed. Asst. Teacher. Since moving here I coached soccer for 7 years for kids 8 and under, been camp counselor etc. I am also a published poet :) To throw some for a loop I also took up hunting last year in which I got a doe and this year an 8 point buck!! Who would guess right? 

Gerry Mirucki Heald: Same old, same old. Lots of children, 2nd marriage, working towards my RN certificate at Capital College.

Gretchen Smith Bozwell met her husband while she was teaching English in Tokyo and he was stationed there with the Navy.  They moved to Everett WA and then to Jacksonville FL where they have been for 6 years. They have a 4 year old son Alex, who is the "Love of our Lives"!

Rich Ringrose owned a small recruitment company and he was the head football coach at St. Bernard High in Uncasville before moving to Richmond Virginia in 1999.  He and his wife Wendy own a couple of employment websites. 

Karen Locke White is an avid cook and worked at CIGNA for 5 years before staying at home with her kids. 

Rob Hence met his wife Jule in the summer of 1986, they got married in 1994 and have made their home in South Windsor with their four year old son, Joey!

Brian Milone lives in Georgia with his first and only wife Betsy and his three children Bailey, Brooklyn & Brennan.

Michael Worrall wrote:  attended SUNY Purchase from 1987-1992 where I majored in film studies and cinema theory. Since 1992 I have lived in San Francisco where I have done film programming, edited one feature film and worked on various projects as a cinematographer. Currently I have an essay being  published for a film journal, a script in development and a video project about landscapes and memory which will be taking me to Manchester, CT early next year. Still a devout new-waver and goth - just less hair.

Andrew Zyrek has been a widower since 2003, Graduated with Master of Science degree from RPI in 2005, Completed two half marathons in 2005.

John Fregeau received an AA degree in English from San Diego City College, a BS degree in mathematics from Cal State Hayward, and a teaching credential from CSUH. He has been teaching math at Hayward High School for 8 years.

Tina Parlato is married, has 2 kids, loves living in Coventry and loves photography.

Patti Michaud has been happily married to Mike for 11 years, they have 2 kids, a daughter Brittany age 10, and a son Dillon age 4 1/2.  Patti loves being at home with her kids and provides childcare for some of her friends.  She says that its a crazy career but worth it to be home with her kids!!

Started working for Whole Foods Markets in 1992 which led to a great career in the natural and organic industry. Now in San Francisco working for SPINS. Small, quirky group of smart people. Continue to paint landscapes in oils but no big breaks as of yet. Just got married in April to Molly, my girlfriend of 5 years. We are about to leave for 3 months for Southeast Asia for the trip of a lifetime. We can't wait.

Chris Lariviere has been married for 10 years and has two girls, ages 2 and 4.

Jim Lemieux is a partner in a California law firm doing civil litigation and still  lifeguards.  He teaches swimming lessons in the summer; travels, collects cars, including a classic 1965 Stingray Corvette.

Lisa Miller lives in Wethersfield with her husband, Carter and three children.

Mara Siebert's hobbies include skiing, Belgium Beer, brewery touring in Europe.

Polly Morrison Evens has gone from the corporate world to a world at home raising kids!

Brenda Ross Priest stays at home with the kids in North Carolina and does house illustration on the side.
   
Deb Dussault worked for Pratt for 11 yrs, then got transferred to Florida.  She got bored, quit, and has now been in the restaurant business ever since, she makes great money, travels a lot, and rides a harley  (has for 9 years).  She goes skiing out west 2-3 times a yr.  She has a handful of friends that are her family, life is good.

Andrew Gifford received a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and is currently a martial arts instructor.  He was recently promoted to General Manager of D'Angelo in Wethersfield.

Barbara Brewer and Al O'Neill dated at graduation and then split up in '87 and lost touch for 5 years.  They married in '93 after a chance run in and live in North Carolina where Al was stationed while in the service and they love living there.  Barbara is a stay-at-home mother of three boys!
