MUDRAS                                               
            Mudra gives 'ANANDA'(Happiness) to Sadhaka and evolves the
   inner feeling of a man, helps him to get a better concentration in
   his work developing the psychological state.
   Mudras are said to be even more powerful and important than ASANAS
   and Pranayamas.                                                   
            Mudra if practiced along with Pranayama and proper dietary 
   life style can lead to better fitness levels.               
            Mudra show wonderful changes in a man`s health as it
   activates specific energy channels and life style disorders like obesity,  
   hypertension, diabetes, arthritis and many more.
                 MUDRAS                                    
   Pranyama is useful for removing harmful thoughts from the mind,   
calming the mind, and increasing concentration. While doing Pranayam 
even five basic elements of body can be controlled because they are  
represented by different fingers.

    The practice of pranayama also confers imprortant physical benefits.
The different combination of these fingers_mudras, we can not only    
control these elements but also cure many diseases.              
    These mudras can be done in any position but sitting in lotus  
position or sukhasan is advisable for better results.They can be 
started with 10 minutes and performed for at least 30 minutes.
SHUNYA MUDRA(SPACE)   

                       MIDDLE FINGER                
Keep the middle finger at the mount of venus
and press it with thumb. It helps in
curing Earache, Deafness. It is necessary
to do this Mudra for 40 to 60 mintes.  

  PRITHVI MUDRA(EARTH)      
     
              RING FINGER             
Put the ring finger together with thumb and
sit in meditation. It cures weakness of
the body and the mind. It increases
life force(Chetna) and gives new vigour
to an ailing person. 
It also gives peace of mind.


VARUN MUDRA(WATER)      
    
                 SMALL FINGER            
Put the tips of thumb and little finger
together. It cures impurities of blood skin problems and makes the skin smooth.
Usefull in gastro enterities and any   
other disease causing dehydration.

WIND or AIR      
    
           INDEX  FINGER            
Simply touch the thumb with index
finger and sit in meditation.
This helps in increasing brain power,
mental concentration, memory etc.
It also cures problems of sleeplessness
tension, lack of concentration.

VAYU MUDRA(AiR)      
    
                 INDEX  FINGER            
Keep the index finger on the
base of thumb and sit in meditation.
It cures Rheumatism, Artharitis, Gout,
Parkinson's desease and
improves blood circulation
SUN MUDRA   

                   THUMB               
Bend the ring finger and on its outer
side on second fold, press with
thumb. It creates heat in the body,
helps digestion and helps reducing
fat in the body.
