I chose the online name manbugle because I like to elk hunt so much. Any of you who have archery hunted for elk in the peak of the rut know what I mean. It is one of the most awesome things ever. Every year I look forward to the upcoming season and when it is over I already have plans for the next year.

The 2003 hunting season was very eventful. I shot a cinnamon colored black bear the day before elk season opened as I was watching a wallow to see if it was used. Some elk were feeding towards me and I was just about to get some great video when the bear came right in on top of me. A couple of days later my friend shot a dandy 4-point muley. I called a 5x6 Roosevelt bull in for my neighbor, and another friend called a 5x6 Rocky Mountain bull in for me.

I hope you enjoy my hunting pictures and stories.
