Hockey stick - Don't get Checked!

By Tidalshark

I am reasonable sure that Ryan Kiley's 25 PIM are a team high for one game.

The Trans-con line was a -1 for the night while the Perry line was a +1. Maybe Boyer needs to start mixing the lines up a bit?

Hewer only shot the puck three times but it went in twice. Wish all the boys there that good of a shot!

The Official attendance for the game was 1,229. (This has been updated on the boxscore page.)

Liam McCarthy was not in the line up as he was serving a suspension for a cross check. He was replaced by Simon Duplessis (#17).

Dmitri Doulebenets also sat out the game, although I don't know why. He was replaced in the line up by rookie D-man Trevor Socholotuk (#34).

The WHA2 websites are down this morning, for whatever that's worth.

While it wasn't a great showing for the Tees, if we take away Gowan's shakey first period, it wasn't really a bad outing either.

In other WHA2, Alabama lost to the Seals, 4-3, which leave the Manatees in possession of first place.

Unfortunately, that gives the Seals ten points which means they can jump us tonight unless we beat Jacksonville.

The Cuda's defeated Macon 7-4 last night and will gunning for the Tees tonight that win also puts them in three way tie for second.

The Cudas have one game in hand on the Manatee, as well as on Orlando.

The Seals and the Slammers rematch tonight, while Lakeland travels to Macon.
