Hockey stick - Don't get Checked!

By Tidalshark

Rumors have been circulating that the Manatees days at the Miami Arena are done and that the team will finish up on road. Obviously, these are just rumors. Or are they?

The Miami Arena website (http://www.miamiarena.com/) has removed all mention of their "prime tenant", and report no events scheduled for March and April and only the two Latin music events in February.

The Arena's website had previously listed all Manatees home games.

IRN.FM price Increase

IRN.fm has recently raised the prices of their WHA2 broadcasts from $1.99 to $3.99. IRN.fm stated that the WHA2 teams have not paid to IRN.fm the money that has been owed them since the beginning of the season.

As a result, IRN.fm raised their rates to try and recover the losses they have been suffuring from the WHA2.

However, on a very similar note, when I checked out IRN.fm today, while the Seals broadcast was listed, broadcasts for upcoming WHA2 events were not.

I'm not a big fan of IRN.fm and so I don't check the site on a regular basis, but I'm pretty sure that in the past, upcoming sports broadcasts were listed.

Ask the owner?

From a Orlando Seals Press Release: Seals owner David Waronker will be available to meet with fans and answer any questions during the first intermission of todays game with Lakeland. The Seals play Lakeland at TD Waterhouse Centre at 4:05 p.m.

Waronker will be available at the Seals fan club table today (Feb. 15) after the first intermission to answers any questions. The Seals fan club table is located on the concourse outside of section 115.

Okay Dave. What's going on here?
