WHA2 announced duel broadcast | ||
World Hockey Association 2 Press ReleaseCELEBRATION, Fla. The World Hockey Association 2 (WHA2) today announced that for select audio broadcasts during the season both team broadcasters will call the game together.For each period, one teams broadcaster will call play-by-play while the other teams broadcaster will be the color analyst. While the teams battle it out on the ice, the broadcasters will compete good-naturedly over the airwaves. The WHA2 has already done two such broadcasts and received good feedback from the fans. The next dual broadcast will be this Friday, December 12 when the Miami Manatees take on the Macon Trax. Listen as Manatees broadcaster Mark Fischel and Trax broadcaster Adam Minnick call all the exciting WHA2 hockey action. Its going to be a fun experience. Minnick said. I was privileged to have a dual broadcast with Woody Carlson in Jacksonville and it adds an element to a broadcast seldom heard in minor hockey. Im looking forward an interesting evening calling the game with Mark. I too had the honor to do a dual broadcast with Woody Carlson and it was a great experience. Fischel said. Im certainly hopeful that I get the same experience with Adam. The WHA2 and IRN.FM have worked with the WHA2 arenas regarding the buildings technical issues and believe all issues under the WHA2 and IRN.FMs control have been taken care of. Audio broadcasts (beginning with the past weekends games) are $1.99 per game. The WHA2 has six member teams for the 2003 2004 season: the Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, Miami Manatees, and Orlando Seals. Each team will play a 60-game schedule. Every game will be broadcast on www.irn.fm.
