Be A Part Of Hockey History In Jacksonville World Hockey Association 2 Press Release JACKSONVILLE, Fla. � The Inaugural WHA2 All-Star Game is coming to Jacksonville on Tuesday, January 27th at the Veteran�s Memorial Arena. �Hockey on the River� will feature the hometown Jacksonville Barracudas facing the best of the WHA2. Throughout the month of December, fans voted for their favorite players to be a part of the WHA2 All-Star starting line up. Mike Johnson of the Barracudas was selected as a starting defensemen. Joining Johnson on defense is Mark White of Orlando. Starting at the forward positions are Oak Hewer of Miami, Brad Federenko of Orlando, and Chris Cerrella of Lakeland. Starting in goal for the All-Stars will be David Goverde of Orlando. Since Mike Johnson is playing for the host Barracudas, replacing him in the starting line-up will be Art Mnatsakanov of Macon. Jim Paek of Orlando and Zac Boyer of Miami will be the coaches. The All-Star Game festivities get underway on Monday, January 26th with a Media Luncheon with special guest, 1980 U.S. Olympic Captain, and Gold Medalist Mike Eruzione. On Tuesday, the teams will practice from 10am-noon at the new Arena. This will be open to the public. A VIP Luncheon will follow the practice, then the Pre-Game Festivities will start at 5:30pm on the Arena Plaza and at Amsterdam Sky Caf�. Face-off for the Inaugural WHA2 All-Star Game is 7:30. Mike Eruzione will drop the ceremonial first puck. Immediately following the game, the public is invited to a Post-Game Party at the Amsterdam Sky Caf�. Great ticket packages are on sale now.
