World Hockey Association 2 Press Release

CELEBRATION, Fla. � World Hockey Association 2 (WHA2) President of Hockey Operations, Peter Young, today announced a blockbuster three for one trade between the Miami Manatees and the Macon Trax.

The Manatees have traded forward Bruce Watson to the Trax for the WHA2 playing rights of forward Jeremy Kyte, defenseman Stephane Desjardins, and defenseman Corey Smith.

Player statistics and details to follow in Macon and Miami team releases.

The WHA2 will ice six teams for the 2003 � 2004 season and play a 21 week, 60 game schedule. The Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, Miami Manatees, Orlando Seals will open training camps with player physicals no later than October 25th. The first regular season games will be on Friday, November 7, 2003.
