Welcome to the October 13th edition of the Miami Manatees �MAKING WAVES�, your helpful event guide for the appearances of your Miami Manatees players, coaches, and staff. Monday, October 13th at Pines Ice Arena from 5:00p to 6:15p

Come out and meet Miami Manatees player JF Picard as he practices for the first time with the High School hockey program from Chaminade High School.

Tuesday, October 14th at Kendall Ice Arena from 7:45p to 8:45p

Manatee players Kevin Swider and Mark Scally will take to the ice with the �Jr. Manatees� pee-wee travel hockey team. The Manatee players will assist the Jr. Manatees coach to give on-ice personal instructions and help make the Junior Manatees into a powerhouse.

Wednesday, October 15th at the Culmer Overtown Library from 3:30p to 4:30p

Goaltender Mark Scally will read to kids from the Overtown area a selection of hockey themed books, as well as giving a demonstration of goaltending equipment and techniques.

Wednesday, October 15th at Kendall Ice Arena from 8:00pm to 9:00pm

Manatee players Kevin Swider and Dmitri Doulebenets will take to the ice with the �Jr. Manatees� Midget travel hockey team. The Manatee players will assist the Jr. Manatees coach to give on-ice personal instructions and help make the Junior Manatees into a powerhouse.

Friday, October 17th on the Atlantic Casino from 7:30p to 12:00a

The Manatees are holding a season kick-off party aboard the Atlantic Casino Cruises. Come out and join the fun with the Manatees as they host a party in a private room. Enjoy the complimentary buffet, Vegas-style shows, and gaming fun. Make sure to call the Manatees to RSVP at 305-536-7825 x106.

The Miami Manatees will face off against the Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, Orlando Seals, and the Alabama Slammers starting in early November. The Miami Manatees opening night is on November 8th against the Macon Trax. Faceoff time is 7:05 PM.
