Miami Manatees Press Release Welcome to the August 4th edition of the Miami Manatees "MAKING WAVES", your helpful event guide for the appearances of your Miami Manatees players, coaches, and staff. Tue, Aug 5th to Fri, Aug 8th at the Kendall Ice Arena from 1:45 to 3:45. Come out and meet Manatee players Matt Kohansky, Kevin Swider, JF Picard, as well as Manatee staff members, as they assist the Kendall Ice Arena's summer hockey camps with on-ice tutorials. Sat, Aug 9th at the Miami Arena for "Showtime Boxing Live". The Manatee players and mascots will be available on the arena concourse handing out information and meeting the boxing and hockey fans. In the feature bout, Aceline "Popo" Freitas will be taking on Jorge "La Hiena" Rodrigo Barrios for the jr. Lightweight Championship of the World. First fight is at 6:30 PM and first televised fight will be at 10:00 PM. Manatee players will be there approximately 8:00 PM.
