Miami Manatees Press ReleaseWelcome to the July 21st edition of the Miami Manatees "MAKING WAVES", your helpful event guide for the appearances of your Miami Manatees players, coaches, and staff.Mon, July 21st 7:30 at the Office Depot Center will be the first preliminary meeting of the Miami Manatees Booster Club. Anyone interested in learning more information or becoming a charter member is asked to come to the Sawgrass Room. This meeting will be used to determine interest and set up a time and place for the next meeting. The Office Depot Center is located on One Panthers Parkway in Sunrise, Florida. Tuesday, July 22nd at the Pines Ice Arena. Come out and root for Bruce Watson's Golden Wolves Traveling Hockey Team. Bruce recently accepted the position as head coach and he is looking to make an impact with his new team. Helping Bruce in the coaching duties as Asst. Coach is Manatees Equipment Manager Andrew Dvorak. In addition, meet up with Manatees staff on Tuesday to get your season ticket information for the upcoming season! If you can't make Tuesday's game, The Golden Wolves and head coach Bruce Watson play again on Saturday, July 26 at 4:00, and Sunday, July 27th at 12:30 at Pines Ice Arena. The Miami Manatees Bruce Watson and the Manatee Mascots will be part of the live broadcast for the promotion of "Downtown Miami's Best", a celebration of the diverse and active business and leisure community that makes up Downtown Miami. The Miami Manatees are proud to be a part of "Downtown Miami's Best" which will take place on July 30th at the Hyatt Regency. The Miami Manatees will face off against the Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, Orlando Seals, and the Alabama Slammers starting in early November. The Miami Manatees opening night is on November 8th against the Macon Trax. Faceoff time is 7:05 PM. Season Tickets for the Miami Manatees are now on sale.
