Liebenow's goal in OT shoot-out seals winMiami Manatees Press ReleaseMiami - The Manatees got back in the win column with a 4-3 victory over the Alabama Slammers in the game-ending shoot-out session.The 1,021 fans in attendance got to see four of the top five scorers in the WHA2 compete in a close game. Alabama's Paul Vincent tied up the game with 2:36 left in the third period, while Oak Hewer and Eric Perricone each score two points to keep pace with Vincent's WHA2 leading 28 points. In the overtime shoot-out session, Josh Liebenow scored the only goal as goaltender Mark Gowan stopped all three Alabama shooters to earn his first win on the season. Gowan made 28 saves on 31 shots in regulation and overtime, while Alabama's Ronayne made 34 saves on 27 shots. The teams face-off again Sunday night at 5:00 pm at the Miami Arena, and fans are invited to bring their skates to skate with the team after the game.
