Manatees lose in overtime, 5-4 | ||
Miami Manatees Press ReleaseMiami � The Miami Manatees lost their first game this season, dropping a 5-4 overtime decision on the road to the Orlando Seals.Manatees left wing Eric Perricone scored a short-handed goal and a penalty shot goal to extend his lead in league scoring with 12 points. Ryan Kiley and Todd Nowicki also scored goals for the Manatees, but it wasn�t enough as the Seal�s Mike Sanderson scored in overtime to end the game. The Manatees still remain in first place by getting the overtime point. The Miami Manatees will face off against the Alabama Slammers, Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, Macon Trax, and Orlando Seals in the WHA2�s inaugural season.
