From Herald Staff and Wire ReportsThe Miami Manatees' seven-game winning streak came to an end Friday night in a 7-2 loss to the host Macon Trax. The Trax (14-13-5) scored three goals with the 15:07 left in the first period. The Manatees' defense struggled, allowing Macon to fire numerous shots at goaltender Sean Weaver. Ryan Rivard scored twice right in front of the net, and David Deeves added another goal near the crease. Manatees coach Zac Boyer was ejected for throwing a stick on the ice after arguing with the officials. Boyer's ejection came with 2:32 left in the first period. Manatees defenseman Tom Perry also was injured late in the first period.
