From Staff and Wire Reports� Manatees 5, Slammers 1: Five Manatees scored, and Sean Weaver's shutout streak ended at 115 minutes as Miami improved to 12-1-1 at home with a rout of Alabama.Greg LeColst scored the only goal of the first period at the 13:20 mark. He grabbed a loose puck at the right circle and unleashed a wrist shot that got past Fred Beaubien easily. Dan Donnette and Josh Liebenow scored in the second period to make it 3-0, and Kevin Swider and Darcy Johnson added goals in the third. Johnson has scored in three straight games. Weaver appeared to be on his way to a second consecutive shutout, but Ryan Prentice's off-angle shot was lost at Weaver's feet. Unable to see the puck, Weaver accidently kicked it into the net. The Manatees take on the Orlando Seals tonight and end the homestand Sunday against the Macon (Ga.) Trax.
