Manatees shut out Lakeland | ||
From Herald Staff and Wire Reports Greg LeColst's first-period goal was all the Miami Manatees needed to ensure a third home win in a row Sunday with a 4-0 victory against the Lakeland Loggerheads. Sean Weaver earned the Manatees' first shutout this season, making 26 saves. LeColst has 12 points in six games since joining Miami. He had been placed on waivers by the Jacksonville Barracudas. Oak Hewer, Darren Cain and Darcy Johnson also scored for the Manatees.
