Ifurita is known in El-Hazard as the Demon Goddess whom is destined to bring destruction to the world.
In the OAV, Ifurita was the girl whom met Makoto Mizuhara in the basement of his school that night
when Jinnai was chasing him on school grounds(I also guess it was her that also froze everyone). Ifurita
tells Makoto that she has been waiting for him for over 10 thousand years(DAMN THAT'S LONG) for
that she can return to his imbrace but it turns out that Makoto doesn't know her. She then tells him that
he must prepare to imbark on his journey to El-Hazard and that one day, their paths will cross again. It
did happen but with only one difference......She doesn't know him!!

In the begining, Ifurita became Jinnai's demon toy(that's what he calls her sometmes) and most of the
times did what he says. The encounter with Makoto in El-Hazard stured her thoughts to the point where
she got tired of doing what is commanded of her to do and soon began to have feelings for our little
protagonist. Makoto, willing to free her from the curcuit that makes her follow orders, destroyed it and
freed her from her prison of pain and then Ifurita began to protect Makoto in everyway she can until it
came to the pont where she left him to save El-Hazard from the Eye of God and vanished into divergent
space, meeting back with him at the high school(Yes! This is how she got to earth and how she already
knew Makoto).

The Wanderers: El-Hazard TV series version of Ifurita is way different than her OAV counterpart. This
Ifurita is way too dumb, stupid, ditzy, funny, and O-so Kawaii(Cute in japanese)!! Ifurita becomes
Jinnai's guilt-ridden lacky throughout the series from the point of her appereance. She hardly even knows
how to control her own powers and messes up a lot of times in everything. This Ifurita , however, is one
of the 3 controllers of the Eye of God(the other 2 are Makoto and Rune Venus).

Ifurita has the ability to mimic any fighting power or machine function(ex: The 3 priestesses powers and
the Eye of God power). I would like to think Ifurita as the center of attention of all the cast members of
El-Hazard.
