| Some words 4 US: CMC - Center for Management of Conflicts (CMC) is non-governmental, non-political, non-profitable organization of the citizens, which is dealing in the field of citizens� society. CMC is dealing on the territory of Republic of Macedonia, but also on the international level using meanwhile it�s aims and duties. CMC is formed in 2002 by group of enthuziasts that wanted to changes in our society. The structure of the CMC is build from the Consortium of the CMC, Board of CMC and Monitoring Board. The Consortium of the CMC is compound of 10 members. The Board is compound by 5 members and is at the same time executive organ na of the consortium.The Monitoring Board is compound of 3 members and its duty is to take care about the financials of the organization and to give its opinions about finical reports to the Consortium. Aim: The basic aim of the CMC is to support in building peace and stabile democratic society to all the citizens, based on the principles of rule of law and social welfare. It�s aim CMC reaches through promoting the values of the democracy, human rights, tolerance, interculturalisam, Peace and peaceful dealing the conflicts. Duties: Besides already mentioned aims, CMC has in front of selves� huge number of duties. Some of the basic CMC�s duties are: � Development of the citizens society, and at the same time to stimulate dialogue between the individuals and groups with different opinions; � Contribution to making peace between confronted groups and individuals by using its methods for peaceful and non-violent solving the conflicts and building relaxed contacts in the community. � Creating place for internal understanding and respecting the differences, also de-placing all kinds of prejudices, hate, discriminations, impatience, and discrimination based on gender, religion ,race etc. � Strengthening the youth capacity by supporting them to use their creativity in keeping the positive values and to take active part in peace building in their society. � Building net of the NGOs with similar aim, just to get bigger effects in society. For the already mentioned aims and duties CMC, has built a plan for realizing them. Part of that plan follows: � Creating safe place for dialogs, where groups and individuals will feel equal in their possibilities for explaining their opinions and thoughts. � Giving them knowledge about the democracy, human rights and peaceful dealing the conflicts. � Organizing courses, seminars, workshops, tribunes, cultural and sport activities, which will support CMC�s aims and duties. � Information and ex-change. For this, CMK plans to publish (newspapers, biltens, Internet page, liflets etc.) Membership: Center for managing the Conflicts is open, for everyone that wants to accept CMC�s program and it�s aim. Finances: CMC gets the finical means by: Membeship fees, Training fees, donations, provisions from organizations, companies, gifts, means from the education groups etc. This financies are used only for aims and duties of CMC according the conditions from the donators. |

| Our challenge: Except our biggest challenge to develop CMC as the most famous training center that will provide trainings on Peacebuilding topics, we are willing to break down the barriers in entering in to the public and business sector. With �public secdtor� we mean the state structure including the administration, and with �business sector� we mean all private companies that are composed of multiethnic staff members and that show interest in providing healthy interethnic relations inside their company. Unfortunately yet they do not understand the importance of having good interethnic relations in administration that is growing rapidly and it is mixing necessarily because of the Ohrid framework agreement. The same is valid for the business sector. They also yet do not understand that equal representation and healthy interethnic relations are jus prerequisite for bigger profit for them. |
