The expert will be responsible to develop proper methodology that will make objective assessment of the Peacebuilidng project of CMC,  and  prepare evaluation report with findings and recommendations.

Tasks and responsibilities:

� To make a comprehensive assessment of the peacebuilding program, focusing in particular on the effects of the program in developing participants� life skills and abilities to make changes in their own surroundings;
� To provide the organizers of the project with inputs, recommendations and suggestions, both in terms of content and organization, for the improvement of future similar activities;
� To prepare an exhaustive narrative evaluation report;
� To be fully present in at least one seminar;
� Be available for questions and clarifications connected to the project at least six months after the completion of the project.

Qualifications:
- University degree or advanced degree in the area of peace studies;
- Three or more years of professional experience in peacebuilding and non-formal education and/or any other relevant field;
- Experience in training adults or similar and ability to carry out a needs� assessment as well as designing and implementing training programmes;
- Working knowledge of English;
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and with limited timeframes;
- Ability to operate windows applications, including word processing and internet;
- Ability to work with people of different nationalities, religions and cultural backgrounds.

Trainers on Peacebuiliding and leadership topics, which will carry out the duties as described below for the project �Win the unknown - Get to know the others� .

The Trainers will be responsible to design and implement 5 youth leadership courses in time frame of maximum 6 months.

Tasks and responsibilities:

� To be able to facilitate independently the planned conferences in the field of peace-building in co-operation with the project coordinator and the co-facilitators;
� Participate in designing a comprehensive training program specifically tailored for the students in the high schools coming from the post conflict areas in the north-western part of country;
� Provide support in the preparation of the necessary training materials;
� Fully cooperate with other trainers, experts, co-facilitators and project staff;
� Provide support to the project coordinator in organizing and facilitating a transparent interview process in the selected secondary schools (Kumanovo, Skopje, Tetovo, Gostivar, Struga), for the effective identification and selection of potential young leaders;
� Prepare trainers� reports after the implementation of each training, to be submitted in writing to Centre for Management of Conflicts;
� Advice the project coordinator to deal with bottlenecks in the process of training as well as in the process of technical implementation of the project;
� After the implementation of each basic seminar, provide feedback on the on-going activities and training process to the project coordinator, including suggestions and recommendations for following conferences and further development of the program;
� In coordination with the project coordinator and the OSCE, when appropriate, present the project to relevant stakeholders (i.e. NGOs and media);
� Maintain good relations and regular communication with the project�s stakeholders. 

Qualifications:
- University Degree;
- Five or more years of experience in peacebuilding trainings;
- Familiar with the youth leadership program;
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and with limited timeframes;
- Ability to work effectively with people of different nationalities, religions and cultural background;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are required;
- Ability to work as a member of a team;
- Experience in working with NGOs;
- Working experience with international organizations;

The Project Assistant will assist the project coordinator in all the different phases of the project from its planning to its full implementation. More specifically:
� Assist the project coordinator in the regular communication with the project staff, the OSCE and other stakeholders regarding project related activities;
� Assist in maintaining and updating files on the project activities, reports, and other relevant material, drafting correspondence, minutes and research information and background documentation, as requested by the coordinator;
� Coordinate all logistical and technical aspects during the planning phase as well as during the implementation of the conferences;
� Assist the project coordinator in all the administrative and financial related issues;
� Provide translation of written documentation and during the conferences, when needed;
� After each conference, prepare reports about organizational and participation aspects;
� Perform any other related task as requested by the Project Coordinator.

Qualifications:
- High school degree or higher;
- Experience in organizing youth programs;
- Office management and administration experience, preferably within the NGO sector;
- Familiarity with the procedures and reporting of the international organizations;
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and with limited timeframes;
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point;
- Ability to work with people of different nationalities, religions and cultural background;
- Working knowledge of English, written and oral;

Tasks and responsibilities:

The project coordinator will be responsible for the overall preparation, implementation and coordination of the project�s activities as per the project documentation. More specifically:
� Manage the human resources included in to the project, from their engagement to  supervision and coordination of the team;
� Coordinate all relevant issues with the OSCE and implement the decisions taken in consultation with the OSCE;
� Timely provide the OSCE and the project staff with necessary information on the activities; 
� Coordinate the planning and the organization of the project�s activities;
� Coordinate the work of trainers, experts, co-facilitators and other staff involved in the program;
� Organize meetings with the directors of the targeted schools as well as responsible persons that will deal with the project;
� In full coordination with the selected trainers, responsible for designing a comprehensive training program specifically tailored for the students in the high schools coming from the post conflict areas in the north-western part of the country;
� Prepare the list of necessary training materials and coordinate the preparation;
� With the support of the trainers and the co-facilitators, responsible for organizing and facilitating the interview process in the selected secondary schools (Kumanovo, Skopje, Tetovo, Gostivar, Struga) in order to identify potential young leaders that would act as change makers in their own communities;
� In coordination with the OSCE, present the project to relevant stakeholders (NGOs, governmental representatives and media);
� Supervise all 5 seminars (three days each) within the youth leadership program 2007/8;
� Provide support to the involved staff in dealing with difficulties and unforeseen issues during the training process as well as in the process of technical implementation of the project;
� Facilitate the trainings when appropriate, including translation Macedonian/Albanian when necessary;
� Responsible for the preparation and submission of the contractual reports (narrative and financial interim and final) to the OSCE;
� Prepare and submit to the OSCE written weekly communication describing the ongoing and completed activities, including administrative and substantive aspects;
� Undertake activities necessary for engagement of the participants in the follow up process;
� After the implementation of each basic seminar, coordinate with the trainers and co-facilitators for the preparation of a list of identified and recommended students for the participation in the advanced seminar as well as future capacity building activities in which they could act as young leaders in their communities;
� Maintain good relations and regular communication with the project�s stakeholders;
� Perform networking activities, as appropriate.

Qualifications:
- University Degree;
- Five or more years of experience in project management, accounting and fundraising, preferably in the field of peacebuilding;
- Proven experience in designing and facilitating Peacebuilding trainings and youth programs;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Experience in working with NGOs;
- Proficiency in English, Macedonian as well as Albanian language;
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and with limited timeframes;
- Ability to work with people of different nationalities, religions and cultural background;
- Working experience with international organizations and in a multicultural environment;
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point;

- Familiar with peacebuilding issues;
- Presentation skills and experience, preferably related to peacebuilding topics;
-    Good interpersonal and communication skills;  
-    The incumbent will be self-motivated, self-disciplined, well organized, a good team�player, able to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment;
-    Excellent computer skills including use of internet/ e-mail application and MS-Office software.
