Aoshi was one of the stongest characters of the Rurouni Kenshin Series. His skill with the kodachis is unmatched. He always has a cold emotionless stare across his face. After the other members of the Oniwaban group were killed, Aoshi sought out the tirle of the strongest warriors for his fallen friends by attempting to defeat Kenshin.

Hanya's mother was trampled while he was in the whomb, causing severe disfigurment. People feared him throughout his childhood. He eventually ended up living in seclusion, deep within the mountains. It was there that Aoshi found him and made him a member of the Oniwaban Group.

A former spy, Shikijo was defeated by Aoshi as he snuck into Edo Castle. After he was defeated, Aoshi invited him to join the Oniwaban Group. The scars that he has all over his body are from the fight with Aoshi.

Hyottoko isn't very smart. He's one of the four memebrs that Aoshi Brought with him to Tokyo.

Beshimi is very short and quite nimble on his feet. The Rasenbyo that he flicks with his thumb caontain the poison, jimsonweed, also known as Korean-Morning Glory. He might be the weakest of the Oniwaban Group.

Misao is the last known relative of the former leader of the Oniwaban Group. She was raised by Okina who has since become like father to her. She is always trying to find the positive side of things and is almost always cheerful. Hanya tought her all that she knows about Kempo. Misao secretly loves Aoshi.

Okina is by far my favorite character (aside from Chou and Jin'eh). He may be old, but his skills are amazing. He was the leader of the Oniwaban Group members that were operating in Kyoto. In his past, he was the only member of the entire Oniwaban Group that could match the skills of Misao's father.
