| General Rules: Every day, players will send and email to all of the three webmasters. This email will be considered that day's action. Your action can include fighting, traveling, and shopping. The webmasters must recieve this email between 12 A.M. and 7P.M. If the mail is recieved after that time, it will be deleted. Your character's name must be included in this email, and the specific action should be indicated in the title. Ex: Attack, Travel, Shopping. It's simple and helps us to sort the emails. You may only attack someone in the city you are in. If you want to attack someone else then you have to travel. A player may go a maximum of 3 days without sending an action or roleplaying on the boards without giving prior notice, before he is punished. The rest of the rules are below. 1. Webmasters: This Custom RPG is owned and opperated by three individuals. Each Webmaster has his own responsibilities and certain emails are to be sent to each one. Ghost: Ghost is responsible for recieving and posting new characters. He also runs the Blacksmith and operates the Shop page. Dragon: Dragon is in charge of the Contracts, and the Message boards. All traveling and non-battle actions are to be sent to him. Nightmare: Nightmare writes the battles and handles all training. Send your Battling and training actions to him. He will also answer any questions about fighting. 2. Fighting: There are many ways to attack a person. If more than two people attack the same person the fight may be interrupted and stopped, resulting in very little power gain. If the fight is not interrupted the fight will continue untill one of the fighters can prove his power. The different types of fights are listed below. Ambush: This is a cleaverly planned attack that gives the victim very little time to react. Usually the ambusher wins the battle, but against a tougher opponent........ 1-Sided-Duel: A battle in which the aggressor shows himself and speaks before attacking. This is a very honorable type of battle. Duel: This is a truely a battle of honor and skill that involves two people. The two individuals have agreed to fight each other. Nightmare must recieve emails from both fighters before he will write it. You may also define the rules of this battle. Shadow: A very low attempt at fighting that leaves the opponent completely unaware of the attacker. The attacker always wins, but is never identified. Remember though, there's always a chance that things could backfire. Group Ambush: This act of teamwork allows a group of men to attack a single target. This target could be: another person, a building, a ship, etc. 3. Healing & Death: During a fight a player can recieve damage amounting in days. Healing times will range from 1-5 days. If things really go wrong, then you may die. After death occurs you must choose a new character, but you will retain your power points. 4. Lifestyles: There are 5 lifestyles a player may choose from. Police: As a police officer a player will recieve a paycheck each week to the amount of 400 yen. However, an officer may be given an assignment at anytime that he must follow. Wanderer: A wanderer is free to do whatever he wishes at anytime, but if he wants money he has to acquire a job from the contracts page. A job can range from a gardener to an assassin. Every job that he can aquire is only temporary and will last only 3 weeks. Mercenary: A mercenary will also acquire his jobs from the contracts page. However, a mercenary's job is restricted to fighting only. Only one time in a short period will jobs be offered. He will also be able to travel wherever he wishes unless he is on the job. Hittokiri: A hittokiri has a specific leader and will always recieve a target anonomously and will be payed a sum of 900 yen per head. If the task is not completed but an atempt was made, then he will recieve 400 yen. When a Hittokiri doesn't have a target, he may attack whomever he wishes but he won't be payed for it. Bounty Hunter: A bounty hunter looks only at jobs that involve a price on someone's head or he can look at the warrants section for a job. Because he turns in his victems to the police, he is considered a police informant and is payed 100 yen per week. 5. Alliances: A group of player may form themselves into a group. These groups must be named, must have a purpouse, and they must have a leader. Examples would be the Juppon Gatana, the Oniwabanshu, and the Jinpu Tai. A group may also establish a fortress in a city of their choosing. This requires a sum of 7000 yen which can come from one group member, or the fee can be divided amongst the entire group. I must recieve confirmation of the group from every member before it's added. 6. Traveling: A player may travel anywhere he want's in one day. Once there he will be able to interact with everything currently in that city. If a player doesn't return home in a long period of time, he runs the risk of being robbed. This includes the loss of Normal Items and perhapse even money. New locations will be added as we progress. 7.Joining: Go to the Joining page. There's also a bit more info here. 8. Buying and Selling Items: The concept of a character buying something from the shop is self explanitory but, a player may also sell one of his items if he is short on cash. If a player wants to sell an item, he must sell to another player. The shop doesn't accept Items from players but it will put them up for sale for you. When a player buys a used item, the payment will be added to the former owner's acount. Also, a player may attempt to rob someone. This is likly not to turn out well. But, sometimes u need to take the risk. Although, be warned that once you do this, a bounty will be placed on your head. So beware of bounty hunters. 9. Contracts: If a player agrees to a contract, you must carry it out. If you don't or refuses to, a mystery fighter will arise and claim you. And I mean that, so be good and keep your promises. 10. Ascension: After a player gains power of 100, his character may go through a major change. This is a change of lifestyle and perhapse, weapon. It's also optional. You may remain the same if you wish. 11. Training: Training gains experience points for your character. You will also have to train if you wish to use a new weapon such as the Zanbatou. You can choose the number of days you train, but you will have a set amount of days for weapons training. Also, while training you may role play only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. 12. Tournaments: On the final day of every month, there will be an FFA (free-for-all). Anyone may participate in this tournament and there will be prizes of money and items for the top 4 fighters. There will also be two different types of tournamets at other times. Normal Tournament: This is just a standard tournament where any fighter who choses may enter. There is no entrance fee and the single winner will recieve money or a single, one-of-a-kind item/ weapon. Outlaw Tournament: These are illeagal trournaments in which a person may enter and bet on himself or a player can stay out of the tournament and bet on those who do fight. There is an entrance fee that will be stated but the winner will recieve a large sum of money. Please try to make your character as unique as possible. Don't make your's exactly like a player that we already have. Look over the members page before you creat and send your character. I hope you have fun and follow all rules. If you continuously break the rules then we will kick you off of the site. -Enjoy |
