TENNIS BALL SEMI-AUTO
This design takes American Gladiators one step further.  The design was just a short step away from my original semi-automatic gun.  It utilizes the same type of gas piston, but it is far simpler since it needs no extractor/ejector  mechanism.  The diagram was modified from a very early concept drawing of my other semi-auto, which is why it looks so different, but you get the idea.  Same gas-operated principle.  A tennis ball drops in place from above and the bolt (left of ball) closes.  When fired, high pressure air forces the piston back, which opens the bolt again.  This could be fed by a vertical magazine or possibly a large hopper.
