SIMPLE PAINT GRENADE BREACH |
This design is used by the Texas Tech physics department in a t-shirt launcher for football games. It isn't suitable for spuds, but it's perfect for uniform ammunition such as paint grenades. Its beauty is in its simplicity. You place the projectile in the barrel and slide the cover shut. That's it. No more. You're done. |

Pretty straightforeward. Notice that the front edges of the breach are chamfered so that a projectile doesn't get stuck. The physics department doesn't use o-rings on theirs, but even without them they still hit the windows on the old press-box. I would personally incorporate a locking ring on the cover similar to the one seen on the SGTC's "Army TBL" |
