Our Service Projects
The Mam'selle Social Club has always been dedicated to serving our community and seeking to better it in any way we can. Out of this dedication, we participate in and support several service projects in our area. Some of our services projects are listed below...
Cedarhill Animal Sanctuary
Our "baby",
Gunther.
The Cedarhill Animal sanctuary, located in Caledonia, MS is a shelter for abandoned or abused felines of all sizes. Gunther the lion was rescued by the sanctuary in 1992 after being beaten, starved, and left to die in his own filth. The sanctuary cares for Gunther and other animals solely throught the donations and kindness of others. The Mam'selle Social Club adopted Gunther and helps to provide for his food, shelter, and care. There are many others, just like Gunther in need of care and the sanctuary is always seeking help from other animal lovers!  You can get more information on how to help at www.cedrhill.org
R.O.A.R
(Reach Out And Read)
R.O.A.R is a special program of the Mam'selle Social Club.  We believe the ability to read well is essential for success in life.  We also believe that every child should have the opportunity to enjoy reading and to enjoy being read to! In cooperation with local libraries and schools the Mam'selles donate books and volunteer to spend time reading to children. Also during the time of RUSH we ask the girls to decorate and make bookmarks that we give to the schools around town. For more information on our reading program, you can e-mail Service Projects Chair, Keri Hodnett, at [email protected]
Adopt -A- Highway Program
The Mam'selles are proud to be a part of Mississippi history & tradition. We feel it is every  Mississippian's duty to keep our state the clean and beautiful place to live that it is now & to preserve it for generations to come. In keeping with these beliefs, we have adopted a mile of Highway 45 through the federal "Adopt -A- Highway" clean up program. We take personal responsibility for seeing that this section of highway is clean and litter-free. You've probably seen the sign marking our mile which is located in front of Trustmark National Bank on Hwy. 45 North; so be assured we're doing our part to beautify our great state!

The Boys and Girls Club
Recently our girls of The Mam'selle Social Club have decided to take on another project at the Boys And Girls Club located in Columbus. Our girls go and read and just play with the kids that hang out at the center.  Mam'selles are always willing to spend time with the children of columbus.
