It's great to farm organically. That way you kill aphids with washing up liquid rather than chemicals. I don't suppose the aphids make a distinction. Growing food is awful hard work. To that end I have not got any time-consuming plants like lettuce and stuff. O no. I am concentrating on fruit trees, fruit bushes and root crops. My courgettes have been enormous! The plums were ace, too.
Did I mention blackberries? Can't see how I would forget them: I'm covered in deep scratches from the FIELDS of them that surround my humble plot. If you want to visit, bring a machete. And be prepared to use it.

Do loads of it. Not so you'd notice 'cos I don't publish stuff. Poetry mostly. I have been writing a novel for YEARS. I love it but it is hard work. I have currently written fifty printable pages and have written hundreds of unprintable pages. This damn thinking is hard work! Due to the nature of my novel I have become fascinated with LONDON, CRIME, the VICTORIANS, VICTORIAN NOVELISTS and the history of PLUMBING. I should really share some of this stuff but I'll think about it. It's so personal, you see. And I am worried it might also be rubbish. Oh, just one, then. Have it!
