With only a single way in and taluna archers always at the entryway, this area is could be deemed safe for the talunas which inhabit it.... depending on how good of a hunter you are.

Animals which would be found inland Schendi Rain Forest and that can be incorporated to this page in role-play are the following:
Grasshopper, red: described as weighing around four ounces, red in color

Grub Borer: an insectivorous bird that inhabits the rainforests inland of Schendi

Hinti: small, flea-like insects; unlike fleas, they are not parasites 

Hith: huge python-like snake 

ant: known in the jungles of Schendi as 'The Marchers' are these aggressive carnivorous insects. Each is about 2 inches long, with a shiny black exoskeleton and two antennae. Their name is derived from their, apparently seasonal, marches through the jungle in a single column, yards wide and pasangs in length. They may number in the millions, their path's widening to as much as 500 feet when they overtake, swarm over, and devour all flesh, living or dead, in their path. Their bite is extremely painful, but not poisonous. Their victims die from being weakened from relentless attack, being overcome until they are still. 

Anteater:More than six varieties inhabit the rainforests of Schendi; the great spined anteater grows to 20 ft in length, feeds on white ants, or termites, breaking apart their towering nests of toughened clay with mighty claws, then darting it's 4 foot tongue, coated with saliva, drawing thousands into it's narrow, tube like mouth

Armoured Gatch: a marsupial mammal, which inhabits the rainforests inland of Schendi 

Larl, jungle: a large (7 ft. at shoulder) feline, tawny red or black in color, having a black mane; carnivorous; On the jungle floor, as well, are found jungle larls and jungle panthers, of diverse kinds, and many smaller catlike predators. These, on the whole, however, avoid men. They are less dangerous in the rain forest, generally, than in the northern latitudes. 

Ost: tiny snake, about 12" long, bright orange in color; its venom causes extremely painful death within seconds; the ost of the rainforests inland of Schendi are red with black stripes 

Panther, jungle: On the jungle floor, as well, are found jungle larls and jungle panthers, of diverse kinds, and many smaller catlike predators. These, on the whole, however, avoid men. They are less dangerous in the rain forest, generally, than in the northern latitudes. 

Slee: a rodent which inhabits the rainforests inland of Schendi 

Tarsk: porcine animal akin to the Earth pig, having a bristly mane which runs down its spine to the base of the tail 

Tarsk, giant: large cousin of the tarsk, standing 10 hands high at the shoulder 

Tumit: large flightless bird, about the size of an ostrich, having an 18"-long hooked beak; carnivorous 

Urt: small, silken-furred rodent akin to the Earth rat; it has three rows of teeth, two tusks, and two horns 

Urt, Ground: small rodent which inhabits the floor of the rain forests inland of Schendi

Plants which would be found inland of the Schendi Rain Forest and that can be incorporated to this page in role-play are the following:
carpet plant: rainforest plant from area inland of Schendi; has tendrils that are used to bind a bandaged wound (as used in book)

fan palm: lush plant found in the jungles of Schendi, grows to twenty feet high, spreads its leaves in the form of an opened fan; source of water - a liter at the base of each leaf's cupped stem can be gotten

leech plant: plant with bladder like seed pods; can fasten two hollow fanglike thorns into its victim through which it can suck the blood that nourishes it; a chemical response of the pods cause a mechanical pumping action which gives them an eerie resemblance to contracting and expanding lungs

liana vine: rainforest plant which can be used as a source of drinking water

palm tree: More than 1500 varieties of palm trees exist in the rainforest one of which is the Fan Palm more than 20 ft high and spreads it leaves in the form of an opened fan it is an excellent source of pure water as much as one liter of water being found cupped at the base of each leaf's stem.
