A trip to the Canadian Rockies was born when my brother Andy came up with the idea for a 10 year reunion of the original "trip out west" of Andy, Chip, and Steve.  Originally, all were supposed to meet in Banff, but as it turned out, only Andy out of the three original brothers was able to make it in time.  I was somehow able to talk a certain Sung Lee from Auburn into coming as well.  Rain dampened much of the trip, and my barbaric ways of living on the road offended some with more delicate sensibilities.  All in all though, it was quite a memorable trip.

Sung on a hike up the ??? valley in Yoho NP
Me on the Athabasca Glacier with Mt. Athabasca in the background.  This is the most accessible glacier in Jasper, so tourist-friendly in fact, it will let you walk right up and pet it.
Sung at the Peyto Lake overlook, one of the more photographed spots along the Icefields Parkway in Jasper National Park. Me on a rare dry moment on the very wet backpacking trip up the Watchtower Basin and along the Skyline Trail in Jasper NP, which ended up being something of a disaster for Sung.
