You Walk into a meadow where the grass is tall and soft and the wind is cool. In the middle or the meadow, you see a young girl, about 13 years of age tending to a strange looking animal lying in the grass on its side. You're not sure what the animal is so you decide to go and ask. As you're walking twards her, something shiny catches your eye. So you take a minute to go and see what it is. Once you get down close enough to see what it is, you discover that is is some kind of bell, and you pick it up, thinking someone may have lost it. But when you pick it up, you see another bell tangeled up with it, so you think it belongs to two people who love eachother very much. But instead of looking around for other people, you decide it's probably best to take it with you on your journey.

Once you're back up on your feet, you realize that when you first knelt down to pick up the bell, the girl was farther away, but now she seem to have noticed you and came a little closer, but thought you were another creature inhabiting this strange new world you've come into through a mystereous golden iron gate at the begining of a forest, and continued tending to the animal. After you've brushed all the dirt off of your knees, you see that the animal is giving birth, and you watch as four little babies soon appear in a soft purple blanket covered basket. You see that they're almost exactally like the mother. But then you see another blue blanket covered basket with six heads poking out. You wonder if these all came from the same animal or not. So you go up to the girl who is now tending to the babies and sit on a tramped-down patch of grass beside her. She pays no attention to you, and continues working. You ask her, "Did all of these come from her, or from two?"

"Two what?" she asks.

"Two of those!" you say pointing at the animal.

"Oh, you mean two Grafarons. No, they all cane from her."

"Wow," you say amazed. "How many can one Grafaron have?"

"Anywhere from three to ten. But only the alpha female can have up to fifteen. All the others can only have ten at the most."

Then you remember that you still have the two bells in your pocket. You ask her if anyone here has lost them.

"Bells, no, no one has been here but me for the last three years. They must be ancient bells from when the Grafarons were found all over the world, and Turushano and Foruu were the alpha male and female of them all. You must have found their bells lying in the grass where they were last seen. No one really knows what happened to them. Who knows, they may still be around today, their spirits may still haunt this meadow, looking for the person who found their bells to give them a gift or a blessing of the Grafarons."

By that point, you're a little unsure of what to do next, so sit there for a moment in silence, wondering what may've happened to them. But then you suddenly realize, you never got her name. So you ask her, she replies 'Illusion', and she walks off into the distance with her Grafaron and the two baskets full of babies.

By the time you can only see a blank meadow, you hear something in the grass beside you. You look down but nothing is there. You start to feel like you're being watched and so you quickly spin around to be sure no one is there. And when you do, you see two pairs of four legs running away. They fade away as quickly as you saw them, and you begin to run in the direction that Illusion went.

Once you see that you are completely surrounded by trees, you spot a house with a stable beside it that reads,

Grafaron Keep Owned by: Illusion
Captivity: ---

The numbers had been painted over because of the new arrivals. You go and knock on the door and Illusion comes out and welcomes you in. After you tell her what you had saw, she said that it was unnatural for someone to come to the meadow and they may've wanted to inspect you.

The next day, you go and visit the grafarons in the stables. You can see that there are at least twenty or more females and only one male to keep track of them. You soon realize that it's breeding season because there is one big pen and it's separated into two parts right down the middle with a small opening to one of the sides just big enough for two Grafarons to walk through side by side. All at once the females gather in the center of the bigger section and the gate closes behind them. Soon after, the male comes into the bigger section from the smaller one and selects a beautiful magenta colored female, and takes her to the smaller section and looks at the other females as if to tell them he wants some alone time with her, and the other females leave. You decide it's best to let them have their privacy and leave.

As you're walking out, you wonder if that was all of the females here. So without disturbing the two, you walk quietly past them into where the rest of the females headed. Once there, you see nine other males in seprate stables along the back wall. All of the other females are in their own stalls as well. But it seems as though the males are a bit more hyper and willing to get out of their stalls than the females are. So you go over to one of them and cautiously open the door. The Grafaron egearly jumps out and starts running around in circles as dog would if it were chasing it's tale. You look up and see a sign above the stalls.

It reads:

Sled Grafarons

After you read that, you see a door that says 'tack' on it. You peek inside and see ten harnesses and a rope to hook them together with. You take the ten harnesses out and put them on the grafarons. When you're fninshed, you see that a sled of some sort is waiting outside. Despite the fact that ypou have one harness left over, you take it with you just in case.

When you get out there, you see an evil looking grafaron sittion in the seat of the one-man sled. You look behind you to see that the others are cowering in fear behind you. You steak a small hook into the ground and tie the rope up to it and each grafaron. When you're finished, you attempt to go and put the harness on the grafaron in the seat. Once you successfuly get it on him without waking him, you wonder how you're going to gey him over to the empty chain link. When you try to pick him up, he jumps and lands on the ground in front of you and then walks over to the empty chain link so you can hook hin up. Once that's done you secure the rope to the sled and take off riding around the meadow. Once you've finished riding, you take the grafarons back inside and put them in their stalls.

You wonder how the couple of grafarons are doing so you deside to go and ckeck on them and to your surprize, you see they're now walking down the hall to the stables together and not even looking back at you to be sure you're really there. You decide to follow them, just to be sure they get stables either next to each other or with each other.

After you help them get setteled in, it's about midnight when you finally fall asleep on a bale of hay. When you wake up the next morning, everything in the barn is quite except for a few rustlings of hooves as the grafarons head outside to graze. You go outside and watch in amaizment as thousands of grafarons come into the feild to graze. You think to yourself, Is that how many live here?

As you're looking around, you see two grafarons standing in the shaddows, looking over the others. You run as fast as you can twards them holding out the bells and saying in the ancient language as if to be controlled by some spirit, "Sarana ich, nah mich! Tu mi na bel!" (Do not run, for I mean you no harm! I have your bells!) After you come back to reality, and still running, you see that they heard you, even if you didn't know what you had just said, they made no attempt to run or flee, so you keep heading twards them.

Once you reach them, they sniff the bells for any detection of fraud or poisons that may be on them.

Well done. a mysterious voice says

"Who's there?" you ask knowing that there's no one around you but the grafarons.

In front of you little one.

You look in front of you in surprize.

Aye we grafarons can share mental conversations with almost any human. Now before you go running off over the hill screaming, place the bells around our necks.

"But why?" you ask.

You needn't know that. Now, if you're too afariad to put a bell around a ghoast's neck, then place them on the ground and leave.

You decide it's probably best to put them on the ground and return to the stables.

Wize choice, and yet then again, you may want to stay...

"Ok then, I'll stay."

Ah, another wize choice. And you may want to take this along with you. You take the item wrapped in cloth and open it. When you do you see that it's a small charm, only big enough to go on a grafaron.

"Thank you"

You're quite welcome little one.

Your journy is over...Or is it?
