| 1/3 cup butter, cut into pieces 1/3cup light corn syrup 1 teaspoon cardamom 1 teaspoon nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cups pecan halves 1 cup salted or unsalted whole cashews 1/2 cup blanched whole almonds Heat oven to 375�F. Line 15 xlOx 1-inch baking pan with heavy-duty foil. Place butter in foil-lined pan. Place pan in oven for 4 to 5 minutes or until butter is melted. Remove pan from oven. Add corn syrup, cardamom, nutmeg and salt; mix well. Add pecans, cashews and almonds; stir to coat. Spread in single layer in pan. Bake at 375�F. for 10 to 15 minutes or until nuts are golden brown. Remove from oven;immediately stir mixture. Cool 20 minutes or until completely cooled. Store in tightly covered container. 4 cups |
