A Biography
Twenty-three-year old Simon Sim has been chosen as Singapore�s representative to MR. TOURISM INTERNATIONAL 2001.
Simon is a Public Relations Consultant. He enjoys reading, traveling and watersports. Presently, he is undergoing training with ALAN SIM PRODUCTIONS, the Pageant Organizer, to fully prepare himself for the 2001 MR. TOURISM INTERNATIONAL Pageant. Following the completion of his reign, he has set his future sight on becoming a CEO with a Multinational Company.
Simon is also an accomplished model, having worked in Australia for more than two years. During which, he was contracted exclusively to an Australian Fashion House and having also appeared in Post Cards from Australia advertisements.
He also holds a PR degree from the University of Western Sydney, Australia; a Business Administration/Marketing degree from Staffordshire University, UK; and an IT degree from Oxford University, UK. He was the former promotional spokesman in Singapore for Overseas Education.
One of his highlights while studying in Sydney, Australia was doing promotional campaigns with the El Salvadorian communities to promote and create awareness for their culture and also to increase tourism interest for Central & South America within Australia.
As MR. TOURISM SINGAPORE 2001, Simon will now promote and create awareness for Singapore culture and to increase tourism interest internationally, especially in Panama, during his year. |
