| A Biography Twenty-four year- old Leon Williams is the second Singaporean to capture the HOMBRE SINGAPORE title. He was selected from an international panel of 11 judges from the 2001 MR. SINGAPORE Pageant held on Thursday, April 12, 2001 at Venom. He also won the BIOTHERM HOMME BEST SKIN and CONGENIALITY Awards. Leon likes sports, travel and watching movies. Currently, he is receiving training with ALAN SIM PRODUCTIONS, the Pageant Organizer, to fully prepare himself for the 2001 HOMBRE INTERNACIONAL (International Man) Pageant to be held in Puerto Rico from July 16 to 22, 2001. Following the completion of his reign, he hopes to work in the entertainment industry as a TV Presenter. Leon is no stranger to the modeling scene. He has been a professional model for more than six years. His jobs have taken him all over the region and he has worked in Bangkok for two years; and in Hong Kong for one year. As HOMBRE SINGAPORE 2001, Leon will appear at civic- and sponsor-related and charitable events and models for various sponsors. He will also spend his year-long reign serving as a role model with the Youth Association of Singapore, an association founded to help teenagers and young people involved in drugs and delinquency. |
