Volunteerism has been the key to the Beach Club's recent revitalization. Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and effort to improve our beach last year.

However, unless we can enlist all of our members to volunteer a few hours each year to help out, we will be forced to adjust our membership fees significantly over the next several years in order to support this growing and vibrant association. So, please consider volunteering at least three hours of your time this year, and give a little back to the Beach Club in consideration of all the many great benefits of your membership.

Three Member Committees have been established:

Maintenance Committee

Last season saw some major improvements at the beach, most notably the replacement of the bath house roof, addition of new geese fencing and the updating of the grill.

Join the Maintenance Committee to help plan, manage and complete beach improvement projects during the year. This coming season we are considering a number of maintenance/improvement projects such as:

� Adding white sand for the beach
� Building new and improved boat racks
� Repairing the geese fencing

Landscaping Committee

Our beach is looking wonderful these days, as we�re beginning to enjoy the warmer weather. The trees and plants are coming to life! The plantings put in at the lake's edge two years ago will continue to add beauty as well as help control runoff and discourage those foul waterfowl. If you would like to be a part of keeping the grounds beautiful, join the Landscaping Committee.

Social Committee

We are always in need of volunteers to help with our annual parties (getting food and drink, party set-up, coordinating games and activities, cooking at the grill, clean-up, etc.) And, if you have ideas for other activities for adults or kids, you can help us make them happen, too. Activities you coordinate could include, for example, sports tournaments (e.g., bocce, volleyball, and basketball), crafts and playgroups.
