What's In A Flower

A  flower is beauty fair

As whimsical as a breeze

Pleasing to the beholder

It's scent fills the morning air

It's colors can be rare

It's given in a single stem

Or in a vase as a bouquet

Given with loving care

In the spring tulips bloom

And daffodils of golden yew

And lift your spirit

From the winters gloom

This great gift was given

To us by the Father

With hope all things renew

Pray each day in thanksgiving

For the beauty of the Flower
