The Grandchildren

Having  Grandchildren can sure be delightful

But it can also make you feel frightful

As you finally realize the years are passing by

You are getting too the golden years my my my!

You notice many different things not noticed before

Their wittiness can wrap you round their fingers and more

They are curious and ask many questions the truth they seek

With their smiles and that twinkle in their eye your weak

Life is a circle from baby to toddler, child and adult

With friends along the way good times and bad felt

You become a mom a dad  thinking of when you were young

Now for you a circle has ended and a new one begun
